  1. Unbelievable...hope they get locked up..had my type r stolen 3 days after I bought it in broad day light...police caught the lad and he got away with it!
  2. Looks mint mate - i have a white v3 type r might have to do the same to mine!
  3. Hi, Thanks for that - I had looked at getting these for the kit for that very reason... Sumo Power are offerring free fitting for the kit - so looks like it will be done at the beggining of next month - thanks for all your help guys! Rob
  4. Thanks for the response - BC's it is then... Just out of interest what spring rates have you gone with, i believe that 6kg front and 5kg rear is the usual spring rate supplied with the BC's but it has been suggested that I go with a 5kg front and 4kg rear to get a ride similar to standard sti set up with the dampers running the softest setting and then I can just crank up the damper when i hit the track...
  5. Hi, I have a v3 sti type r currently running HKS Hypermax Coilovers (not sure how old as where on the car when imported) which are severely knocking so i need to either replace them with BC BR Coilovers (my budget won't stretch to £3k for a new set of hypermax's)or to get a version 6 ra set up (standard springs and shocks - 2nd hand) for £375... Ideally I would like to know if anyone has changed from standard to BC's and if so was it worth the extra for the coilovers? I am slightly put off by coilovers due to the HKS's failing as the car only has 70k on the clock and although I don't know how long they have been on surely £2kplus suspension should last more than 70k miles? Will I have to keep replacing the coilovers every couple of years? Thoughts?.... The car gets used as a daily driver with very occasional track use (maybe 2/3 times a year) Thanks in advance... Rob
