Just thought I share a little something we've been working on this year, warning! This is an Evo lol This car came to us a completely standard Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 260, now it's a fully fledged 550bhp Time Attack car. The engine was built completely in house by us and as you can imagine has taken quite a beating this year and is still holding strong! We overhauled the engine using Cosworth Pistons, Oiliver Rods, Kelford 280 Cams, a Custom 2.2 Crank, JMF Manifold and a GT35 Turbo. We used a KW suspension system installed and setup by us which has proved to be extremely capable around the track. We installed a Pace dry sump oil kit to ensure there were no starvation problems and cut alot of wait out of the car before installing the roll cage. The end result, one very happy customer! We've been support Marc throughout his time attack sessions this year, I've included a number of pics below from Brands Hatch Enjoy!

As others have said mate awd cars will handle very differently to rear wheel drive, there are enhancements you can make such as the Whiteline product range, the anti lift kit does make a difference to the way the car handles, this combined with the roll centre adjustment kit and a comprehensive geometry set up would bring the car closer to how you want it to handle

I use Castrol SRF brake fluid, it can take quite a beating, in terms of pads the Carbotech XP8 are a good fast road / occasional track pad. I'm yet to be convinced by the Blue Stuff though in all honesty

I've got a Blitz on mine which is insanely loud and nice bit of quality too, the HKS has a really unique sound to it, it's always sounded similar to a bullet ricochet to me. We've just started importing the GFB range, the respons BOV they make is great piece of kit and as said above adjustable simply by rotating the top the unit with your hand.

The front bumper on my Type R was looking a bit tired so I've finally gone with the facelift upgrade, it's completely changed the look of the car and I must say I'm really happy with the new look, roll on show season! Before: After: I have the foglamp cover stickers to go on but I'm not sure if I'm going to use them yet, the infamous 'I' Pink Badge is on the way and the lower grills will be fitted once I decide what colour to paint them

You can't go wrong buying a car with a 'CA' numberplate suffix, after all it's been registered in God's country!

Road Angel's are awesome! Really good pieces of kit, I use mine all the time to notify me of 'safety cameras'. They do a combined sat nav unit too, but it's not as good as the standalone Road Angels, I don't understand why.

That's the best colour Impreza!
