  1. heard similar stories about stevie mate.... this wagon has defo been well looked after... she has a few faults..

    1. abs fault....last guy snapped it doing the coilovers... have a new one here as part of deal :)

    2. handbrake and seatbelt warning light constantly on??? if I select reverse both go out?? no sure what issue is but she has an hks turbo timer fitted which works spot on i.e. she'll auto decide what time to run etc based on how car is driven but when in timer mode I can let off handbrake and drive car till timer hits 0....... i'm thinkin that this is relative to the fault....??

other than that she is a boost happy car.... spits and bangs...flameouts off boost when warm etc lol when on boost she just takes off like an animal..... to the extent where she makes you feel physically sick.... she's boosting 1.5 bar from 32-33- hundred revs and doesn't stop till u hit the redline.... defo the best scoob classic I've had yet :) last one had 8k spent on her in 30,000 miles got it from drumoyne but just felt laggy as hell and unresponsive....... was supposedly 320 brake but didn't feel it........ I swapped it for a mitsi gallant vr4 jdm import with proven 350 brake........ 0-60 6.4 secs and top speed 150 limited in 8 secs..... my wagon does 0-60 4.5 and off the speedo in the same time lol what i'm wondering is how do I tell what map is on ecu or for that matter what ecu is in my wagon?? as far as i'm aware she has apparently 400.... i'd say realisticly she has 320-340...possibly more any idea's or help available guys???

  2. lol could be we should get a twin sister photoshoot lmao it may well have been in the Springburn area the guy I got her from works in whiteinch...said its his mate that owns Scottish scoobies in whiteinch... no log book yet but am sure his address is in the Springburn area :)

  3. but... she does have some issues.. :(

    1. seatbelt indicator and h/brake light are on when driving?? if you select reverse they both go out...neutral or any other gear..they are on???? any ideas guys??

    2. hks turbo timer will show voltage and work as normal as well as auto selecting time it should run.... but when the timers running you can you can remove the keys let of the handbrake and drive her till counter hits 0...?? is this connected with 1. ???

    3. snakehead has an 02 sensor behind turbo (4 pin plug with 3 pins usable and brand new) I also have the same wires (black and white) and brand new coming from under the manifold going towards drivers front lower body... does the 94 wrx have an 02 sensor in the manifold on the drivers side or possibly in the up-pipe?? and if the snakehead one is redundant can I use it to run an afr meter??

    thanks in advance guys :)

  4. Hi guys i'm back to the scoobie ownership fold :), was last on a few yrs ago and then went to other cars for a while... was away from scoob ownership for s few years then most recently picked up a silver r reg turbo from Glasgow...running 380 brake...got it cheap....was a good car but....hated it was laggy and unresponsive......lot of decent mods though (original jdm sti genome gauges bein 1 of them)... sold that and got myself a jdm mitsi gallant vr-4 running 350 (proven) bhp on low boost (was fast but was an auto :() sold that and now I have got my new toy :)

    1994 classic wrx wagon.... imported 2003 :)

bodywork is ace..... 2 small water blisters under the paint on drivers rear arch... no rust!! 100% original metal :)

    110,00 on clock... 54,800 was km's :)

    hks dome filter

    hks front mount intercooler

    larger injectors

remapped by an unknown tuner (possibly greer sport??)

    hard pipe kit

    baileys dv dump valve

    resonator removed

    tdo5 hybrid turbo (top feed)

    ported manifolds

    3" snakehead downpipe (decat)

2.5" ninja 2 centre and rear sections (full decat)

    closed deck block (fully rebuilt)

    cometic head gasket set

    uprated bearings all round

    1 bar boost stable

    4 pot front brakes

    standard wrx rears

cusco coilover suspension (inc roller bearing/camber adj strut tops at front)

17" 9 spoke wheels...possibly gold prodrives (been repainted black)

spits pops and bangs on the up change off boost.... yh off boost...when on boost she goes like rocket.... makes you feel sick :) lol

i'll post pics tomorrow to see if anyone knows her...she has badges on the front wings sayin "developed by greer sport racing"

defo good to be back though .... come on the scoobs :UK-flag:

  5. I really like this car. Being a cat D wouldnt bother me in the slightest, you can see the amount of work that has gone into the car in the thread, it will be absolutely spot on, even if you came to sell it and anyone interested was worrying about it on cat D, the thread will always be there to read. I wonder how much it would cost to build another like it, would be much more than the asking price, much much more. Its all custom steel panels aswell, its a bargain! i dont think it will be for sale very long.

:iagree: fact car is cat d goes for nowt now a days... more so when it has a comprehensive build file that shows full repair/mod history.....

would defo have it.... not sure her indoors will feel same .. she's too busy with crimbo/new kitchen etc.... lol

it wouldn't happen to be you i keep seeing over at bothwell golf course is it???

  8. The anti-corrosion warranty is only valid if you have had the body warranty checks done and they were about £150 a time. Think they have to be done every 2 years.

Look for the book to be stamped for this.

    B) most manufacturers have a part in the service book thats gotta be stamped up for corrosion inspections..... unfortunately if not then most won't be interested...
