alright peeps i have decided to get a new car in july but not to sure what to get (scooby of course) think ill have about 5k cash to splash out on. so heres my prob its got to be a family friendly car that'll be a everyday runner so reliabilty is a must but has to be fun on the back roads so come on gimme your opinions

i have 225 35 18s on my classic facelift wagon dont get any rubbing at all and im sure you can get away with 225 40 18s but cant guarantee it

think i have sorted my problem im one cool dude lol right the smokey and smell from the exhaust was from un burnt fuel on the cat just bit the bullet let it run for half hour out side the house took her for a run on the m/way smoothly no boost got back no smell no smoke. let her cool down then took her out again no problems what so ever so thank you to everybody for there advice and concerns

just put all the grey injectors back in and to my surprise it has stopped smoking and boosting fine only a wee prob is there is a burning smell coming from the exhaust dont know if its burning oil now

only prob is really dont wanna drive it that far would it come up on a computer. to be honest knowing my luck its something so simple but embarrasingly wrong IE a pipe has popped of. is there any set way the injectors go in i have 3 number 2s and 1 number 3 i put number 3 in where a took it out but the other 3 i have just put in random spaces

right just put old yelleow 1s back in and its still blowing blue smoke took it for a run in case it was just fuel in the cat but still no luck it seems fine just ticking over but after a couple minutes driving its starts getting smokey again

lol i know but im a wee boy that like messing about. but gonna put the old 1s in and let you know how i get on

so you think the yellow ones should go back in again. i dont think it was mapped for the yellow ones thats whats confusing me. its defo not the turbo tho its something to do with the injectors think im gonna throw the yellow ones back in see if that makes a difference

the reason i was changing the injectors was cos i was advised to because the person who had the car before me put the injectors in never done any other mods apart from a HKS filter so all i was doing was wasting fuel.

i changed my injectors from yellow to standered grey 1s i started the engine and blue smoke started coming out the back. took it for a run round the block cos i thought the smokey exhaust was just excess fuel from changing over the injector but had no power but it was still boosting but just not giving me any power any advice please

not yet it'll be a couple weeks yet hope the turbo issue gets sorted soon. seen you on friday afternoon on the by pass by the lights

can i just say thanks to Terzo Neil for his patience and help today as most people are aware i am quite new to the whole scoobie scene so a lot of new things to learn, but thanks to Neil got taught quite a bit within 30 mins of meeting him today so just wanna say thanks to him for his time and effort today and just hope there are more like him on the site Cheers mate
