  1. can anybody on here or does anybody know anybody from autoglass ect to remove reseal and refit my windscreen in the classic its leaking a wee bit so rather than just sealing it would like to get it taken out and replaced

  3. anybody know where the best place to get G3/G6 compound and also looking for a new mop (not talking about a kitchem mop ) a buffing mop the buffer i borrowed has 1 on it but seems kinda rough so want to put a new 1 on before a polish the green machine and get her back out agian
  4. mate i know this may be a long shot but when i messed about with my injectors i nipped a seal it gave all the same syptoms not running or boosting smell of fuel and smoke coming out the back so dont know if you might have a perished seal. if you need to know anymore pm me

  6. should have the wagon bck on the road soon soooooooooooooooooooooo cant wait got the leaks sorted cleaned the seats and carpet new brake line just need MOT and TAX then im sorted lol.... how has everbody been not spoke to people for a while?????
  7. right guys and gals decided not to sell my wagon but to put it off the road for a wee while. first thing i wanna do is change the ECU so it can be mapped for future mods. the ecu i have cant be mapped so i will need a new 1 put in. has anyone done this before and put me in the right direction as to what 1? how much? and who can fit it? second thing what type of mods can i get away with without mapping it?
  8. only reason im selling it is so a can get a saloon only reson a got the wagon is because it was child friendly (cos my girlfriend wanted a family car) but now she is driving the world is my oyster so want another scoobie but saloon this time
  9. na defo saying it needed a rebuild before 100k
  10. is it nessasary to have a engine rebuilt at 100k mine is sitting at 94k just now and change the oil filter every 4-5k just changed the plugs there too but was gonna sell it to a friend the other day and he said most people wouldn't touch it cos the engine will need rebulit i have never had any problems with the engine ie leaking oil bad knocks only probs i have had has been self inflicted when i changed the injectors over and nicked the seals changing them over (schoolboy error) whats everybodys views on this
  11. cheers kenny funny enough after i took the icv off and realised it had a gasket a thought i should replace it so have phoned subaru and ordered 1 prob have to get it sent over from japan again and take another 6 weeks lol
  12. tried to take out the 2 screws on the top of the icv and im just chewing the screw can i take of the whole unit to clean
  13. mark the position where the 2 screws are on top of the valve
  14. done a flash test on my classic and it has shown a fault with the icv can this be cleaned or will it need to be replaced
  15. right guys changed my seals over AGAIN done everything everybody told me to do now it idles fine but once in bost getting white smoke i also notice the bar that runs across the turbo is smoking a wee bit does this mean my turbo is f**ked
  16. no never lubed them at all ill do that next time think thats where im going wrong woud WD40 be ok to use on them? checked the dip stick and it smells like fuel so once again everybody has been spot on
  17. i have not used it all week if i was to take it out i would get pulled so jobs for tomorrow are 1. check seals for any leaks 2. change oil and filters cheers mate

  19. hiya guys got my new seals today and my starter reconed put it all back together and now there is thick white smoke coming for the exhaust bt also it looks and smells like its fuel comming through the exhaust as well any idears whatthis could be

  23. yeah took it out and the bottom seal had a wee nik in it so just to be sure i changed it with no 4 all my problems seemed to be sorted then started to smell petrol all the time then realise i must have niped the top seal when fitting it and it was leaking fuel
  24. does anybody know where i can buy injector seals from phoned subaru and they dont have them in stock and will have to order them from japan which coukld take weeks
  25. took the injectors out and 2 seals have broken (prob due to incorrect fitting) so i have now sourced the prob cheers to every1 for there advice.
