cheers for the offer mate the smell only happens when you start her idiling after a couple mins the smell goes away

but will there not still be fuel on it as the fuel rail passes through

no never checked the injectors gonna do that friday what signs am i looking for to see if there stuck

could somebody lend me there coil pack and leads for an hour to see if mine are done i have a face lift 1997 wrx wagon and still having a problem stating. took all the plugs out and found no 2 plug was soaking in fuel and black so changed it with no 4 and took it for a run came back and no 2 again was soaking with fuel again

somebody has said it could be the head gasket this person is not really reliable but just thought i would ask not loosing fluid power or oil no smokey exhaust

put the standard box back on seems to run a little high when starting her up then goes back down to about 8000 where it sits quite stable just now thanks again mate for the hand today

dont know what atmospheric means but yeah got a DV fitted

it was 6s that was put in and never gaped them

its a 1997 R reg wagon gonna try get a meter for the battery see if that shows anything

well there is 3 (i thought there was meant to be 4) checked for a code and it was flashing constant so was telling me there was no fault i checked the plugs but they all seemed fine only put them in april think im gonna change the fuel filter see if that makes a difference any intruction on how to change this

think i have found out why the car is idling funny missing bolt on the ICV so now think its the starter thats going on it anybody know how to check to see if the starter is gubbed it turns over for about 3-5 seconds before it actually fires up

its to old to get plugged in lol need some1 who knows about the flash test what is a sticking stepper??

alright guys my car is starting to play up again its struggling to start when cool and the revs are eregular droping up and down. somebody mentioned it could the the crank sensor. i have just put new plugs in and they still seem fine so any suggestions

could you not put it on a computer and see if that flags anything up

i apoligise mate mis-understood what you meant but totally agree with you to be honest, the thing that annoys me is that if somebody is in my car trying to start it and i hit him with a bat im the 1 in the court for using to much force but the scumbag trying to drive away gets a slap on the wrist a fine if a wee bit of justice is done then he sues me to be honest guys this country is a joke for law abidding citizens. if your a criminal or junkie your jamming so f**K it why dont we all become strains on the society and claim benefits sorry for the hissy fit
