i get it alot but i think its good fun,nothing better than beating a car so much that you can hardly see it.that what the sti is for,driving fast.

got mines replaced 4k ago and they are knocking already..i would see the point if i was thrashing it all the time but i dont really.i would advise you to uprate to stronger ones as the standard ones will break again and again.

they alloys look minted mate,car looks mint apart from the rear spoiler in black i think.

the wrx ppp is meant to have 265hp but yours may be higher.theres evolution motorsport just off the m8 near edinbourgh,hypertek,dastek and i think AWD motorsport have a RR.i think there is only 4 AWD rolling roads in scotland tho mate.

no offence mate but who puts wolfrace alloys on a scooby?they are for saxo's and corsa's only. plus it will need a new maf sensor soon now that its got an induction kit fitted.jap imports tend not to rust that much,uk cars aint that bad either compared to fords ect,only thing that will cause problems is the fuel filler pipe. sounds like its been boy racered to me (wide arch kit,wolfrace,induction kit,stickers) thats just me tho apart from the obvious,check for the problems as listed above just remember mate mileage aint everything with scoobs,i could import a car with 30k on the clock and constantly thrash it for 10k,sell it at 40k miles and no-one would ever guess untill it blows. welcome to the forum mate

if abused i reckon the average impreza will go through 3 engines in its life time,if looked after and well serviced i reckon one could reach 200k no bother.

mileage is nothing mate aslong as it has history. my old wagon had 156000 miles when i sold it mate on AS is on 200000km's in his wrx another guy is on 135k in his bugeye and another is on 113k in his sti last forever when looked after my thoughts on the car in question is that it looks well tidy and looked after but is pricey,a guy in our club is selling his mint 2001 uk turbo with prodrive pack,ra roof vent ect,heres some pics... http://ayrshirescoobs.com/about37.html

welcome to scotland mate,its a brilliant place and very subaru friendly.like every city centre the flats tend to be on the dear side so i would reccomend the outskirts. some nice pics you've got there

I think you either need to be polite to neds or complete opposite,try talking to them have a laugh ect to see if they are just c0cks.your neighbour sounds like a real nosey ba*****. i think rather than just phoning the police you should talk to them 1st,maybe they are just admiring your car.

dont get the 6 speed mate,im fed up with it having to change every 2 secs. when overtaking from 50mph in 3rd gear full throttle,lucky if i can get level with the car before needing to change up,i preffered the 5 speed in my classic.
