i get it alot but i think its good fun,nothing better than beating a car so much that you can hardly see it.that what the sti is for,driving fast.

got me wondering and i think turbo cars loose alot less power. anyone on here got a bog standard impreza with a rolling road print out? i recon cause they have the turbo powering them they wont loose any,or even 2-3hp every 50k.but i think that cause n/a's power themself,when they start wearing then the power goes dramaticly. what do use think?

got mines replaced 4k ago and they are knocking already..i would see the point if i was thrashing it all the time but i dont really.i would advise you to uprate to stronger ones as the standard ones will break again and again.

must say it is impressive,didnt think you could buy as many chrome covers..thought it was only the battery and fuse availible lol

they alloys look minted mate,car looks mint apart from the rear spoiler in black i think.

when my mate fitted his new dump valve he undone a vacuum hose and while out driving the car shuddered to a hault.im out of idea's,maybe a fueling problem or an electrical fault.

take it that its the non turbo version?they seem to last longer due to not getting raped all the time,very impressive mate.keep going till 300k lol

the wrx ppp is meant to have 265hp but yours may be higher.theres evolution motorsport just off the m8 near edinbourgh,hypertek,dastek and i think AWD motorsport have a RR.i think there is only 4 AWD rolling roads in scotland tho mate.

i recon your maf might be knackered as it was causeing power cuts in my old classic.maybe a vacuum hoose is undone,think it would benifit from a remap.

are the clocks still in km's or mph?,does it have an induction kit fitted?you are going to run into alot of problems taking an old engine to the redline/high speeds.

no offence mate but who puts wolfrace alloys on a scooby?they are for saxo's and corsa's only. plus it will need a new maf sensor soon now that its got an induction kit fitted.jap imports tend not to rust that much,uk cars aint that bad either compared to fords ect,only thing that will cause problems is the fuel filler pipe. sounds like its been boy racered to me (wide arch kit,wolfrace,induction kit,stickers) thats just me tho apart from the obvious,check for the problems as listed above just remember mate mileage aint everything with scoobs,i could import a car with 30k on the clock and constantly thrash it for 10k,sell it at 40k miles and no-one would ever guess untill it blows. welcome to the forum mate

if abused i reckon the average impreza will go through 3 engines in its life time,if looked after and well serviced i reckon one could reach 200k no bother.

well seen as were on mileage ave just turned 22k ma old scoob was mint
