  6. first impressions are all good its even harder to stay under 4000rpm with the light weight flywheel and the new clutch will take a bit of getting used to but will be putting the miles in asap!!!!!!!!

Speaking to David at api again today the bad news is I've to stay below 4000rpm for the next 1000 miles which is torture when I've just upgraded the turbo etc but will try my best to do that in a week or so, after that the run in oil gets changed out and filter then I'll find out how good the vf35 is compared to the td04, thank for the coments see use at the next meet
  9. the mapping is getting done at extreme again, but when ive got the funds i will give Aforrest a shout, but to be honest i dont think that had any thing to do with the problem
  10. at long last im getting my car back after 6 weeks off the road, some people may have seen the thread bottom end died after getting a new turbo, well had an sti bottom end fitted after speaking to david at api also had an uppipe vf35 walbro fuel pump injectors and intercooler,sorry saying its back but dday is wednesday cant wait it like being 10 again waiting on christmas. looking for about 330 bhp after the map on the dreaded rolling road again, i think that that is plausible started saving for a gear box already though hope to see some of use at a few meets soon

Not been on much guys as I've not had a scoob I'm getting an sti bottom end put on with the original mods so still looking at getting a car back putting out 330/340 but itsnot expected back till mid jan so will probs make a feb meet, the delay is due to me getting a bottom end with a good length warrenty and to get this the heads need fitted by themin England see some of use soon I hope, ps if the gearbox goes it's going to burn
  12. Try some dent removal companies I know the halfords in Livingston does dent and scratch removal i got a dent and scratch removed from the door of my bmw only taken an hour and was a great job don't have a clue how they do it though
  13. I'm getting all the work done at extreme motorsport in Whitburn they are Subaru/evo tunning specialist there show car is a 900bhp evo and I've had a map done there before so I should not be worried but I would be lying if i said I wasn't nervous about it

My03 wrx is going in for the following upgrade this week injectors(pinks) fuel pump 255l , uppipe with sensor, sti intercooler + ihi vf35 and remap as the day draws closer I'm starting to worry about things going wrong as it's my daily driver aswell 330/330 is what I'm hoping for is a standard gear box and clutch good for this power, hope to here from people with similar upgrades and power to here how the car copes

Hi thanks for the reply I'm looking for about 330/340 all that's on the car at the moment is a prodrive pack exhaust etc also a sport cat down pipe but I have a vf35 sti tmic walbro fuel pump and sti pinks waiting to get fitted was considering an uppipe I'm also still looking for a sti under tray for the intercooler, any info or advice would be great thanks cook

Hi people looking for a new scoop to go with a sti intercooler on my03 wrx all I can find on the net is replicas, are they any good, where is a good place to get a genuine one, and is the scoop needed or will the existing wrx one do any info will do as this is my first Subaru, the intercooler is not fitted yet
  19. Hi I here alot about ecutek mapping and just wonder what differance if any this is to having a straight forward remap done as I'm running a wrx with very little mods at 283/290 this is with a normal remap done at extreme in whitburn
