There we are then;-)
I'm sure it'll be put to use in 2012, praise where praise is due

I have to agree, it's not the best calendar I've seen or purchased, but it's for a good cause and hopefully some of the money (- manufacturing costs and delivery) gained from the sales, will be put back into the club.
And as Stu spent so much time on getting it ready for us all, I can't complain.

Just got home, received 1 in the post today.

What a fantastic turn out and well done to everyone that had a hand in the organising before and on the day
There are some wonderful photo's, I'll see if any of mine are up to scratch and upload them as soon as I can.
Great seeing Jakes face when he saw the cars and all the gifts he was given.
Like everyone else has said, lets do this again as soon as we can.

Same in Oxford, fingers crossed it misses us
Not long to go now...

Washed and polished, shame it's going to rain on way down.
See what it's like when we arrive

Hiya rich, I dunno how to do them maps but we'll go from burford down the a40 (away from oxford-towards cheltenham) its much easier to get to the m5 that way too, plus you dont have to go into cheltenham centre, theres a back way lol and if we go swindon way we could get caught in the fairford(air tattoo) traffic but at that time in the morning I doubt it, is that ok? I think the route on this map would take us longer altgough I could be wrong, il pm you my number if thats easier?
Cheers
Rob
Hi Rob,
I think I set it so we didnt have to go through Cheltenham, we go round it and then join the M5 @ JCT 11a, don't really want to get stuck in the Fairford traffic if we can help it.
We should be fine.

3rd time lucky
Is this the route we want to take from Burford?
So we should be at JCT 19 M5 around 06:45, should be enough time to have a short stretch and then continue to Exeter, just in time for 08:00.
Added in Gordano services JCT 19 M5 also
-
Rich, is it 5am meet at burford? thought it was half 5?
Cheers
Rob
Defo 05:30
Will post up additional timing points in a bit.
Not long to go now
-
Stu,
Any chance you could email me those times you managed to work out, if you got time that is?
Rich

Hiya rich, yea that layby where the kebab man is on google maps lol il b there at half 5 ok?
Cheers
Rob
Hi Rob,,
I went past it on Wednesday on route to the mini meet, yes I know the place.
Once quick question, any ideas on the route we will follow, it might be best to try to avoid any area that could be busy due to the Air Show?
Rich

As bailey said above, theres one if you go left at that roundabout, il wait in there ok?
Rob
Hi Rob,
Is this the one Maps
Links not working on this browser, sorry (ok maybe they are)

Hi Rob
Sounds good, is there a layby anywhere along there, I am not that familiar with that part of the A40?
Anyone else want to join us along our route?

Stu,
Did I miss a post where contributions were being collected, is it too late to add one, make a difference?

Errr, thought I mentioned food already, apologies.
Jake's mum works for a hotel right above the beach in Newquay and they've VERY kindly offered to put on a buffet lunch and some parking for us all by way of thanks!
Nice one, gunna be a good day
-
Rob,

Havent used the chipex pack but have used DrColourChip pack int eh past. Same sort of thign but mien came fromt eh USA and therefore more expensive because there was no one in the UK doing it at the time..
Thought I had some before and after pics but can't find them.. But Definately worthwhile and very cost effective against resprays. If you just have stonechip and perhaps a nice bit of gravelrash ont eh front end (ooh err!) then it can cover that up almost perfectly.. If your really looking for the marks you and still pick thenm out if your very close up but even standign one step back it's difficult to spot the repair!
Takes a bit of patience to get a proper finish, it's not simply slap it on an that's it.. Maybe devote an afternoon to it depending on the sort of marks you need to cover up.. Or if there's LOTS of gravel rash then maybe try and span it over a day or two..
I wasn't expecting much from the kit, but after I used it the first time I was sold! Even just for basic chip repair it's good but can really tidy up othe front end of a car without much cost Highly reccomended!
I'm hoping it will arrive before next Saturday, then I can remove a couple, although not sure how long to leave between its 1st wax/polish, if it doesn't arrive not such a bad loss, save me messing it up I've read it easy to remove if mistakes are made.
Here's being forever hopefull

Order placed, if it gets here before Sunday that'd be good as it's meant to be a nice hot day.
