  1. Hiya Welcome to the club, hope you get many years of satisfaction out of your scoob and we will see you at a meet sometime
  2. Ha, we were met with a wee skyskrapin hat wearing 1 litre corsa driving guy at the slip from the erskine bridge yesterday. Considering we were doing the speed limit, he came right up our ar*e and Gerard couldn't help but slow right down (there was no-one else on the motorway) in the fast lane to make the wee guy would have to change gears , then he slowly (for the scoob) pulled away and left him for dust when he wasn't even trying. Went to pull off at the airport and he was trying to catch up, flashing his lights etc, not sure if it was because he was angry or happy to hear the burble i hope it was the first, love to wind folk up that'll teach him And, for the record, it would appear I get more eejits trying to race me (Ms tong) than the man of the house does. Maybe it's just I give them a chance every now and then whereas he is always going at the speed of light!!
  3. yup, definately a rise in the competition got a wave or two yesterday off the convoy, wonder where they had been... was a good day for a jaunt out. Got the chance to drive back from Dumfries on Friday after my sister's wedding, what a day - until the clutch fell out with me!! Not seen a day like that in a long time. Coming over the Haul Road was incredible
  4. Ha, yup, well spotted was on the way to the airport for my parents. Never saw you but my scoob is also sick, clutch on the way out so spent the drive just trying to keep the car moving!! Did see about ten Evo's in Balloch, musta been on their day out, made me wish the runs hadn't stopped for us yet
  5. spotted you at the tesco express petrol station, nice number plate
  6. wow, those are some amazing looking dogs never been too sure of Rottweilers but I think yours would tempt me over to say hi, look very gentle, i hope
  7. Gorgeous dog. That's a shame about his past but he now has lots of years of having fun with you to make up for it he will have you wrapped round his gigantic paw lol!! Might need to leave Cindi the yorkie at home for the next bbq - she would pick a fight with the pair of them now, mind you, your other dog will be glad of the back up next time I swear the wee thing is convinced she is a pitt bull or something!! hope your new addition give you lots of laughs and loyalty, he will certainly get you lots of attention, absolute stunner of a dog
  8. Ha, you will be waiting a while, every time I say I'm gonna clean it it rains!! You're in Kilcreggan then? What's your scoob look like and I'll give you a wave have you seen me kicking about? I rarely notice other scoobs in time and am left waving at a bare road
  9. I might consider cleaning mine soon...
  10. Don't recall ever seeing your car but by the sounds of it it was your pride and joy. Gutted for you, what a crappy thing to do to a mate. I'm sure he knew how much the car meant to you. My wee cousin stole a car of mine a year back, never got caught or crashed it though, luckily(crashing it I mean, wish he had been caught! ); wasn't till the guy he had been RACING dobbed him into me when he told me he knew the car was fast!! Little fecker still denies it and I haven't spoken to him since. Anyone who thinks they can just take someone else's posessions deserves to be !! Hope you get it sorted out soon
  11. Much awesomeness can't wait for you to take me a spin
  12. Cheers for that went on their website and there is no millers oil but there is castrol 10w 60. Millers has been the one the car has always run on as far as I am aware, do you know if I can safely change to Castrol? Thanks again, any help is much appreciated
  13. Looking for 10w 60 Millers oil for the scoob and just wondering if anyone know of SIDC discounts etc to get me the cheapest deal?? Need to get it asap, any help much appreciated Cheers
  14. Do you design graphics for vans? I could be interested...
  15. We are, but it's under my profile as Gerard refuses to give in to the world wide web - it's all a conspiracy you know just look up vicci deeney
  16. wow, that's pretty impressive, and I like the new wheels on the car. What software do you use? I am needing to get hold of some to fiddle about with designs for vans and cars before I make any huge decisions myself Cheers in advance
  17. Guess it's £18 for the boat then and restricted "socially acceptable" times of commuting so annoying!! Maybe it means I get to stay home more though and not be in Dunoon all the time... Wish someone would look into fixing it, it must damage some amount of businesses and restrict so many people, at least Dunoon has the option of the quick ferry, even though it's not as fun...
  18. Looking good Fraser, shame about the glitch at horsepower heroes though, there's always something to spend every penny we have on bits for scoobs!! Saw a copy of the mag, but still need to go into Helensburgh to pick up my own soveneir
  19. That is very true, the inside of your car is always spotless, wish I could manage that!! I just look at a packet of crisps and the car mat wears them Suppose you know that from seeing your coffee table after I've visited I'll put some pictures of the bomber up once Gerard has cleaned it; prepare to wait until Christmas or so!!
  20. Ha, yes we rarely see that time of the morning, what with you keeping us up till 5am Keira, hence the buckets of coffee Thanks for that Imy (did you guess it's Vicci and not Gerard writing this - don't think he needs to ask lol). Yeah we have one, just a bit noticeable eh!! We are always on the look out for other scoobies but don't seem to be very observant probably wouldn't have seen you even if you were in the banana lol (unless Keira was with us, then she would punch me because she would have spotted a yellow car - I'm not to keen on the game myself )
  21. You sure it was you that made it look all good or did you get John to do it Really need to clean ours...
  22. Wahay, we never get spotted t'was us in the bomber, never spotted you though, were you on other side? that time of the morning you are lucky if any of us notice anything, too busy with our coffees we were just heading home from dunoon, had the police in front of us most of the way to the bridge i behaved myself, mostly lol p.s. what does fmic mean?
  23. Happy Birthday, hope you have/had a good one, and that Imy got you some of those lovely cakes from her family in the bakers mmmmm, yum!! All the best Vicci and Gerard (Cindi the yorkie too)
