  3. cheers for the advice just what i needed to hear wasn't really considering it but someone mentions it the idea gets stuck. love the scoob think might just upgrade to a blob eye.
  4. had the chance of swapping my scoob for and evo 4 just wondering what the main differences where and why do the evo's seem to hold their valvue more? think i'm too attatched to the scooby.
  5. i had same problem with mine would turn the key then nothing to test if its the starter before you try and start it give it a tap with a metal bar or something and it will probably start. my starter went because a build up of clutch dust. hope this helps! mark
  6. the road from braemar past glen shee and down to perth thats pretty good me and a mate did i was in the scoob and he was in a lotus elise was really good fast winding road!! there was a few moments though!
  7. a mate of mine has just fitted a whiteline rear anti roll bar and he recons its night and day difference between the handleing but also says its really easy to get the back end out. does an anti roll bar make such a huge difference or is there a better way to spend £200?

  14. hi had my classic on a 850 miles trip and could only use the lower octane and i noticed a huge difference even though i'd been giving it a good thrashing seem'd to take ages to pick up in 5th but i'm back on the v-power had two fills and is back to normal. apparently the ecu takes longer to adjust up the power range than it does to when your taking it easy.

  18. yeah there are somw pretty awesome roads up there blew a few cob webs away around skye and especially on the way home thankfully never seen one police car. wasn't too bad on fuel the 850 miles cost about £150 and was defenetly worth it.
  19. hey folks took a trip up Scotland over a weekend 4,5,6th of April and seen a few scooby's on the way up who flashed and waved so just thought i'd stick up a few pics. Apple cross was the first destination via Ben Nevis. Isle of skye on the Sunday and Back by Inverness and the Cairn Gorms on the Monday total of 850 miles. we had a convoy including a Lotus elise, Mitsibishi evo 4 a 1000cc fazer motor bike and the old faithful Scooby.
  20. will try resetting the acu and filling up on v power. would have taken octane booster but didn't realise how scarece hi octane fuel was in the highlands! thanks again for all the help.

  22. hi folks had the scooby out fot a 850 miles tour round scotland last weekend(will put some pics on later) and on the way home gave it some stick over a period of an hour then a 30 mins stop then another 45 mins and now feel like its slow to pick up in fifth have i damaged the turbo? the only fuel i could get was the lower octane would this make a difference? cheers mark.

  24. i used a simonz shampoo washed with a microfibre mit then went over the car with a soft clay bar and i used mquires gold class wax. was a joy to be out giving it a good clean since all the salt again.
