  1. Nope, sorry. Also a 2005 sti should have a 6spd box.

    Johnny

But iam sure id read on this forum that even tho a 6 speed is a bit bigger it would fit. aw well looks like a need to put out a wee bit mair money eh?

  2. did i say govan? no i didnt. Didnt want to mention the tuner until i know there was a receipt for the work.

and anyone can get a recipt printed easily fake or real when i saw it i heard rattiling and knocking

  3. well here goes my belly or what ever. I have had a look at said car with a very good mechanic. who told me staight to gie it a body swerve. He thinks the car needs hefty work on both the engine and the body i can agree on the body of it. as for the engine it had a funny knock from it that we thought was the big ends on there road ootand its an import that hasnt saw any weather treatment and not 100% on if its straight or not

but at the end of the day its your money just be wise and patient with it its also a four door and not two like someone has said

  4. Was wondering if any one knows the price for a 2nd catalytic?

As i got a new one for £87 and was told 3 days to deliver. And less than 24 hrs it was on my car. Iam well chuffed as a local k fit quoted £180. And even had the cheak to argue that it dont have two cats only one. Fair enough I had to fit it myself but i enjoy that.

  5. I have saw that blooming car down the Valley area of Stenhousemuir and over in Camelon. Both times it was being driven by a burd. But I have asked a few of the mates round there to keep an ear open. (there off the travelers)

  6. Also sounds like one of (or more)the fins from the preasure plate have snapped.

I say this as I also had problems geting into certain gears om my mk1 escort.

When we stripped it down saw the fins broken. Changed just the preasure plate and it was fine after that.

  7. Its getting worrying all these scoobs going awol.Gutted for you guys who have lost one. With regards to the gb270 , how can they steal a car of that age with the immobiliser and coded key, i'm just curious as i honestly thought my MY 04 would be reasonably safe from the threat of being stolen , but obviously not. ;)

As its an import i doubt it has an immobilizer. But even if it does there real easy to re-code another fob. then either rattle the ignition or hot wire it.

But i personaly think they would have put it on a lorry or dolly.

  8. Hello there folks,

I would like to appologise on behalf of my bloody stepson, who as far as Iam aware offended sum of my fellow scoobie owners.

I have been away on a trip with work ,to find out the little t**t has been on my laptop giving folk abuse. Not only on this forum but others aswell, so iam left to sort out his mess and feel the wrath.

His opinions are not those of mine nor do i have a 911 gt2 (I wish) But iam very passonate about my car and others aswell.

So a big SORRY to all on the topic Im A F***ing t**t! and iI will make sure the little t**t dont get on again, and ruin it for others.

    Regards

    craig (camcq)

  9. Any chance of you posting a few pics of your RS2000? I used to have a Mk1 Mexico which i loved but had to sell (apprentice mechanic at the time so no £££)!

al get sum pics scanned and post them and let the auldies drool over a real car

and after going doon to salisbury where the snow was thick i had a ball on the army camp i was staying at so put the car thru its paces and must admit i felt a bit more confident when i took oot the abs fuse mor control over the car i thought less likley to bubble back on me plus noticed i had a sticky caliper on the front near side so changed it and poped the fuse back in and well i still have the car

also got my pipes all upgraded not sure wot too as the nephew done it and was oot ti the pub when i got in but keep meaning to ask

so thanks to all for the info
