Hey congrats on getting your bike license! I have been trying to find SIDC members with bike licences also over the last few months. Wouldn't it be great if we all got together on bikes for a change! Good luck with the R6, you are brave!!!! It wasn't my first choice of bike and I would love a gixer but with the low handle bars and a dislocated shoulder that ain't going to happen! Mind you, having been to the NEC bike show last week, I am quite interested in the new suzi gladius. Needless to say my bandit is wrapped up in the garage for the winter unless global warming really happens lol

I get around 240 miles to the tank on the daily drudge to and from office! Mind you there is a wee bit of dually on the hill down to the M40 before Banbury so if I am being tail gated by one of those hot hatch things, I am tempted to toe it down!

Hi, Im on my second import - first one was a bug eye 2l sports from Japan with a wrx body kit - never had any problems in 50,000 miles apart from the turbo limiter light kept coming on but the car didn't have a turbo! Doh! The only reason I sold her on was that I got a great deal on a new hawk eye 2.5WRX from Malta - had her now for 2.5 years without any issues (kiss of death saying that I know) and one of my mates has the same model in a UK spec - can't tell any difference between the two! Both of my export cars have had a UK COC so no probs with getting spares or servicing and anyway there are enough jap import companies for you not to worry about it overly. Good Luck anyway!

Mr and Mrs Scoob from South Northants welcome to you!!!!!! I have had two imports with no probs but if you you get offered a decent one, just check your COC. Apart from that, I leave all the techi stuff to the scooby gurus on this website. I'm only a girl after all lololol

Hi both me and the old man run on super, we both have wrxs, his is 03 and mine 07. Never run mine on 95 but hubby did once and said it was rubbish. Local scooby dealers (without petrol forecourts!) recommend super. Hope that helps!

Hi, I got my from the Motor Depot in Hull. Very helpful team - they import from Malta so have full UK COC. Hope that helps
