  3. was just having a right good laugh there, these guys must be wearing masks!!! must be dick turpin that takes you out on a test drive!!! was particulary looking at the gx wagon for £2995. i recently picked up one of these on a 2002 plate with full factory fitted colour coded kit,sti alloys, crystal type clear lights and indictory bits.it only had 70K on it fssh really good nick inside and out,and it was bought from a trader for £1799. steer clear!!

I can recall when i was researchin rally graphics for my blobeye i came across countless folk with images of ed's car on their listings or sites, some pretty cheeky folk out there ready to make a quick buck off someone elses back. car always looked awsome in those dayglow graphics, any wonder innocents end up with sh*tey quality kits wouldnt buy off any of these cowboys out there

  6. Hi Kenny boy,if your car is pre 2005 the pcd should be 100 it changed to 114 after this on the sti's. a set of sti discs pads and calipers should fire straight on depending on the size of your alloys tho i think to fit bigger gold brembo's you may need spacers dependant on the size of your alloys.......im not an expert mate so maybe some of the technical boffins on here will reply. I have however one of the last 05 plate wrx ppp's and im running 18"pff's and i straight swaped a set of gold brembo calipers ans 330mm brembo discs with black diamond pads straight over no probs at all...................not so straight forward for the back end but the fronts not complicated. i take it your talking about redrilling +2005 spec disc's?? regards John

  12. Drove past the site today on the way down the road, these two lads didnt stand a chance, thoughts are with families and friends. The emergency services that deal so fast and efficiently with emergencies like this dont always get the thanks that they deserve in my opinion.i bet 90% of the traffic that passed this area today are non the wiser of the tradagey that had just happened because of the actions of those there in the last couple of days.
  13. Empty Heed hand braking it round the roundabout in dumbarton retail park. Also passed a very clean looking black classic on a stretch between tarbet and arrochar about 1ish.dont know if its anyone on here but iv seen it a few times before and its always sparkling. Unfortunately after completing the wee overtaking manouvers of the cars coming towards me you were swiftly followed in hot pursuit by the boys in blue with the disco beams going and they looked like they were gunning for you!!!! naughty naughty must have been tanking it through tarbet!!!
  14. LOL we were just saying as well how you would have probably gone the interesting road down and throu hells glen the other night after the run because of the tornado accident and low and behold here you are on the otherside of the roundabout in dumbarton!!!!! Your scoob was looking nice and clean, more than can be said for mine!!! did you come back up via the rest tonight they have reopened it early, thats some mess where the jet hit,the hills scared for quarter of a mile, these poor lads didnt stand a chance.
  15. SCARY THING IS HE LOOKS LIKE HE IS GOING TO SELL IT!!!!!!!!! THERE'S 10 BIDS ON IT!!!!!!!!

IVE GO A SET OF MAGNEX HEADERS AND UP-PIPE WAITING TO FIT AND AN UPRATED WALBRO FUEL PUMP.HAVE MY EYE ON A FMIC AND A BIGGER BOLT ON TURBO AND WANT SLIGHTLY BIGGER INJECTORS,THAT I WANTED TO GET FIRST BEFORE LOOKING INTO MAPPING. IS IT WORTH MY WHILE THE NOW DOING IT OR WILL I BE BETTER OFF SPENDING MY HARD EARNED CASH ON THE SUSPENSION BEFORE TOUCHING THE ENGINE ANY FURTHER????????? ANY ADVICE OR COMMENTS WELCOME!!! 20. Hi ladies and gents, looking for a wee bit of advice really.....just got back from down south (sorry i missed tonights meet, but i think i thrashed any life that was in her out ,all the way up the road from somewhere near birmingham!!!! and there was no chance i would make it back down in time with x444) after picking up a nice cleanish example of an 01 plate bugeye in red mica for absolute peanuts,i actually felt guilty driving it away!!! The car is only a 2.0 awd wagon so nothing fancy performance wise as im going to use it for a daily run around to replace my laguna 2 which is about to start costing money so its been told to look for a new home...the wagon did however already come with a nice wrx/sti style factory fitted kit on board consisting of front bumper, wrx skirts and a rear bumper apron,so its not too bad looking apart from the usual minor stone chips and scratches here and there which was expected.it does have a badly cracked drivers foggy which will need replaced any idea's where to find a cheap replacement or does anyone have any lying around unused for sale?? before i go on a recon mission arounnd fleabay. The exhaust is also a bit tatty looking so would like to replace the backbox...any suggestions?? The car has also been fitted with a rear bumper protector type thingy as you open the bootlid - looks quite nice in the sort of brushed aluminium effect with impreza stamped on it if one of the previous owners hadn'd reversed into something solid with it!!! it has 2 bad dents/creases in it an would probably be better off being ripped off but before i do my usual and tear into it i thought i better ask if anyone else has seen these and know what they are attached with? im presumin that they are just stuck on with adheasive tape? i fear damaging the bumper or worse findin its bolted on and there's big holes under there??? What alloys will finish the car off?? will all the normal wrx / sti alloys from the same age of car fit straight on?? remember not looking for huge costly mods just cheap and cherful to tart up a daily run around, but after all shes a scooby and deserves to look good all the time as im sure you'll all agree!!!! Big shout out to all the scoobies who waved and flashed on the m6 today!! cheers John
