Looks terrible, cant say that any of the car's built have been lookers!
-
There the ones ive got but greg has first dibs on them when i break im afraid!
We can fight for them!
I personally wasn't up for spending the Defi sort of money, I have autogauges ones and they work also a full range of colours to choose or you can even make them change colour in sequence either as a flick between colours or a fade in fade out ( but mainly have them white background green light and red needle)Yeah Ive seen them, probably the one's im going for if they are the one's I had in mind, or a set of Smiths.

I love mini's! Was thinking the other day about getting one for a run around. My mate has just bought a complete fibreglass shell for his, with a nice 1.8 Type-R Vtec engine sat ready to go in the back.
-
Ive just had a search and found an old SIDC thread, and it mentions that they dont make them anymore!

I cant remember if the back-light is green? Ive got a feeling they may be orange?
Not sure if the bulb can be replaced or not.

I'm looking for a set of guages for my MY00 Uk Turbo. Im fussy, I would like the guages to be white, red needles and light up green. Just so it matches the rest of the dials.
Looking for a Boost Guage, Volts and Oil Pressure. Preferably to replace the centre glove box on top of the dash, not a huge fan of pillar pods.
Where/what I'm I best to look for. I know Defi's are all singing and dancing with the controller, but to be honest, I'm looking for something simple.
Also, where is the best place to take the oil pressure from? As the volt guage is simple, as for the Boost.
Many thanks! Ryan.

Yeah it had a high rise spoiler, looked the part!

The N/S shield can be removed no problem, and the centre section as well. The bottom half of the O/S shield is easy, but access to the top half is difficult, but you could leave it in place. The biggest problem if the car has been in the UK for a long time, is that the bolts holding most of the shields disintegrate as you try and loosen them. Are you going to replace the shields with heatwrap, as it's a wise move to keep the headers very warm to aid the flow of air to the turbo.
Might get mine off and wrap them. Is it worth getting the standards ported?

Seen you just as you were turning off down towards Dillichip. Dont know if its anyone off here.
Also, keep seeing a dark M reg Classic about loads, usually a woman driver.

That looks almost standard, I like that alot!

Sexy stuff! Looks like a traffic cone now.

Beautiful motor mate! If I see you in fife, I will be sure to wave. Same up here though, no wave relationship

I think you may have passed me on Saturday night in clydebank at that horrible big roundabout. In my green 2000 turbo. Think there was a convoy of cars with you and maybe a red impreza too?
Was with a wee lady, so wasnt driving my usual.

Its a second world war monument I think?

Funny enough Jon, I only went up there for the first time the other week since Ive lived here. Is a cracking view, was alot of old deers sleeping in their cars when I went. Thought I had stumbled across some unusual grave yard!
-
As long as im still getting the turbo! Defi guages I may have to beg you for! ha ha!

Not difficult at all if its the one bracing the top mounts? Jacking the front wheels up always helps me align the holes as it allows the car to flex slightly.

Does anyone in the Dumbarton area have a spare standard actuator? Would like to borrow one to see if its mine that is causing the problems I'm having.
In exchange for some beers of course!
Cheers, Ryan.

Aye think thats the boy's name, havent actually seen it up close or know whats underneath, but ive heard its pretty brutal!
-
Aye there is a nsilver non-turbo classic with a massive front bumper at the end of my street. That black one up bonhill is a friend of a friends and I led to believe its got quite a spec to go with it!?
Sure I seen that blue P reg the other day.
-
Aye it was a pretty horrible place when I went to high school here, times have changed, I can even park my Scoob on the street and not get the tyres slashed!
My Grandparents stay on Brooke Ave, and its pretty much completely changed right around their house, the manky flats are slowly going!
Ive been scooting about alot the last two days seeing family/friends and Ive not seen one member from here. Im pretty sure Ive noticed another guy on here that comes from Balloch, may well be STi Pretender actually!
-
I've worked in Dumbarton and currently work in the Vale/Balloch area.
Where did you stay?
In the Balloch/Haldane area, my parents live on Shandon Brae. Down here the now actually and have only seen one dark blue classic which was abit tarted up.

Does AndyF ever use SIDC?
-
You two guys from around the Dumbarton area? I'm from Balloch originally, down there at the moment.
