  1. I have a 93' WRX rolling shell (everything bar the interior and engine) that Ive decided I need rid of. It was first intended to be used and abused as a track car, but recently Ive been going back to old Fords. Hence the loss of interest.

Are the shells worth much as the bodywork is generally good.

    What do people think?

  2. Two of my studs on my turbo sheared when the Cat came off for its MOT. So I need a new gasket set since the turbo has been removed, but im struggling to find any without going to Subaru dealers.

    Similar to this im after.

  3. I got pulled the other weekend by traffic cops because my MOT ran out two days before. Luckily you only get a £60 fine. Next year I will pay more attention to my dates on the calender!

Another thing, why do cars need a front number plate yet motorbikes are exempt?

  4. does it work when you switch your hazard lights on mate???

if it does its more than likely that your indicator stalk is fudged...

    where you from mate???

Nah it doesnt work at all when the hazrards or unlocking/locking my car. Im in Leuchars, fife, not far from Dundee.

Hi Ryan, I have this piccy (for a MY97-98) that shows the connections from the stalk to the lights and looking at it there isn't much in the way of cabling between the two.

The RH rear light runs from connector R26 and then onto R2/B98 and then into the loom back to the stalk on B71, the Hazard switch second connector B38/i3 and and indicator module on B32. From B38/i3 the connection goes back to the hazard switch i22.

When the hazards are off fuse FB-20 feeds into the hazard switch i22/Pin7 and then out from i22/Pin8 to i3/B38/Pin12 to the signal/hazard module B32/Pin1 and then back out on Pin3 to the stalk B71/Pin7. If all the other indicators work chances are that the issue may be after this point as all lights are driven from this common point and its possibly a bad connection on connector B98/Pin5, B98/Pin12 feeds the left hand side light.

When the hazards are on, a second fuse feeds into the hazard switch on i22/pin3 and turns on all the left and right hand lights at the same time.

I hope this is of some help

I will print that off at work and have alook. Had the multimeter out today and im getting no power and there is resistance along the cable!

    Many, many thanks!

  5. Can anyone help?

My back right indicator has stopped working and I've changed the bulb. Used a multimeter and I'm getting no power from the plug.

Every other light is working. Checked all my fuses and nothing seems wrong.

Has anyone else had a similar problem or is there another fuse anywhere else?

    Any help appreciated!

  6. edit - Ryan I am using a metal foil tape at the moment which works but is not permanent. There is the option of bungs or grommets but ideally they could be welded as said above.

Some of the holes have metal bungs in them, but I found they got mangled by my air-chisel. The only way I found was do the above and cut mild steel into a similar shape and weld. Not always the prettiest but the seats and paint covers most.

All for go and not for show, I suppose.
