  1. not the way i would like it at the moment but between jobs so the bodywork that was getting sorted has been put on hold for the moment. Seem to be passing you a lot these days haha
  2. Spotted again today mate, but this time i was in my scooby, blue classic that waved in motherwell near taggarts
  3. you wouldnt have mate, was using the gf's clio as that had fuel in it and was doing some running around for her lol Always the same tho, when i leave the scooby parked up i see everyone and as soon as i take it out theres no sign of anyone lol
  4. Spotted several times in Lanark on Saturday .... car was looking good mate!
  5. if you overfilled the oil then chances are you have oil in your boost solenoid/pipework and that would explain why you are not seeing full boost. IF it was running ok before you done the oil change and its now showing an error code then i reckon it could be due to this or a sensor failing rather than being in desperate need for a map tho it would be wise with the mods you have. Get the ecu checked and find out what the code/error actually is and this will help sort your problem mate
  6. Spotted a very clean RB320 with female driver and passenger in Glasgow city centre on Saturday night, Anyone on here? I was in the other half's clio and musta look like a right weirdo admiring the RB lol
  7. Dont know if you caught my return headlight flash when you past earlier, i was in the blue classic ... only just clocked you at the last min
  8. Gutting mate after all the running about you did to make sure the car would make it to the track day too, at least you have spare diffs sitting
  9. Looks like a good day out, i forgot all about this until 11am and hadnt taken my impreza on its test run since fixing a slight coolant issue midweek or id have popped up to spectate.
  10. Uk Turbo 2000 model. Plate was mounted there when previous owner was about to fit a front mount but that didnt happen and ive just never changed it, been there for 4 months now 6k miles and through deep snow etc and still remains solid. lol
  11. You must have a dodgy look mate lol, when my gearbox failed in December i had arranged for a garage 50 miles away to fit my new box and the AA picked it up with no hassles, winched it straight on flatbed and away it went quite happily
  12. nah mate this is my first scooby
  13. Was a nice day yesterday so gave the scooby a quick wash and took a few snaps. Far from perfect example but got it in a straight swap for a Saxo VTS so not complaining. Has the rear arch issue which will hopefully be getting sorted within the next few weeks and depending on work situation rear spoiler painted to match car, if not standard low level spoiler refitted also looking to get clear front indicators as previous owner has smoked the standard indicators. Few other wee niggles still to be sorted then it shall be heading for circa 300bhp hopefully all going to plan.
  14. That is the pipe required Cheers
  15. Does anyone know the best place to get the metal water pipe that runs from back of block on top to behind the cam pulleys? For a classic shape EJ20N engine Thanks Gaz
  16. Following something my mate who just bought an impreza and from one of the spotted threads posted today made me wonder. Who all waves/flashes headlights at fellow Scooby drivers? Is it just for similar models ie newage? turbo versions? any version? what you do to acknoledge a fellow owner?
  17. Managed to get one from local parts place, to find out that the place that we ordered sensor from hadnt even bothered ordering the part from their supplier
  18. Hi guys Bit of a long shot but does anyone have or know where i could get an oxygen sensor removal tool today in the lanarkshire area? Need this tool to get my mates Sti back on the road Cheers Gaz
  19. Blue Newage @ KFC in East Kilbride Lovely looking car, me and my mate who just got a sti2 were sitting admiring it for some time when it parked up Nice one buddy!!
  20. Yeah my mate said the company he was insured with were a bit anal about subaru's being on the policy
  21. I know the holes for the Sti6 and standard uk spoiler i got were both the same mate so would imagine it would be a standard fitment if oem spoilers
  22. Think it varies between policies tbh, i know a few mates that have a traders policy and they are allowed to add on their own cars for personal use but like everything this will vary between insurers prob
  23. spent all weekend trying to get a dry slot to service the scooby, thought had it sorted, put the car up on ramps and then the blizzards started..... thought what the hell just stuck at it whilst my mate was saying wait til another day lol
