  3. Saw this turning up to the Hospital tonight very briefly and overall it looked a lot different to a standard STI and the fact it was on a 58 plate really got me thinking, it was in blue like I said very brief look. Does anyone know this motor?
  4. Wish their sales team was as good I just wanted a new Rodeo for the business. Just about to sign up for the L200 obviously too busy to worry about new customers.
  5. Well I stuck to my guns and watched it pass me by to the tune £1750, with the 08 WRX going into to Nobles tomorrow for warranty work and a service I feel the next few days without a scoobie being sore.
  6. well i'm leading the bids for it at the moment so I may well find out how bad it is or not fingers crossed!
  7. anyone knw this car All information appreciated. I have a figure in my head for this. Hopefully I have not alerted everyone else to a possible bargain or alternatively I'm getting laughed at for considering a pig and a poke
  8. Many thanks to the guys at Autoecosse for the afternoon, felt really good on the first 4 laps then as I got faster the brakes got less and less. Would deffo do it again but I am now seriously thinking of a dedicated track car as opposed to running the WRX again. Tim remember I gave you my card regarding the Rodeo can you give me a call at some point. Cheers Andy

  15. As you may have read I have 1 porous brand new alloy, after leaving several messages with the supplier and contacting Inovit who have told me I need to speak to the dealer first, I really need to beg, borrow of buy another alloy as this is the family car during the week for the wife who nedds it for the school run, she's not happy with the spacesaver on and I'm certainly not. Any help with this will come very appr££ciated.
  16. Sorry guys it was a V10 not sure whether its the wine typing 12 or just my age.
  17. saw an RS6 V12 yesterday what a car, certainly had me drooling. Couldn't quite understand why it had a trailer and a small petrol station on it though
  18. Yesterday in Dundee minding my own business on the Kingsway in the works Seat Leon bang just before the Coupar Angus Roundabout the white Transit unmarked camera van, sneaky pr!ck yup I'm doing 70 I'm expecting the letter. Today a week after getting my new 18" Inovits fitted I finally pop back to the garage to get them checked as I'm losing about 2psi everyday, me thinking they have not seated correctly, how wrong can I be, the wheel is porous, visible hole in the inner rim and air bubbles where it meets a spoke more alarmingly every spoke has air bubbles under the powder coating where it meets the rims. The garage tells me not to refit as serious risk of total wheel collapse under load. At the same time I'm looking at the front wheel for similar symptoms when I'm aware of a section of rim about 4" long which is flat and the bead of the tyre is almost visible, I remember hitting the pot hole last week and grimacing afterwards but this was not expected. To add to the frustration I'm now running with an 80kmph spacesaver, I phoned both the supplier and emailed Inovit (no phone numbers on the website) this afternoon and neither have responded. As for the damaged rim is this sort of damage repairable or am I looking for a new alloy? What are the chances of having any claim against the council if the pot hole is still there? All answers appreciated.
  19. I'm fortunate I can see my car (08 WRX) from my front window, unfortunately I have to park it on the street, when it 1st arrived the attention was unbelievable seemed like every tom, dick and harry came for a neb, then it dissipated now I have fitted 18" gold Innovit alloys with 35 profile F1's and the attention has increased to the point where other cars are peeping their horn to move on the onlookers. But more concerning I have now become aware of at least 3 cars that have stopped disembarked at least 3 passengers and walked around the car, all looking appreciative, but getting out of total ****e heaps ie old golfs, astras and mazdas, the local boy racers always give the thumbs up. Question being do you approach the closer viewers with fear of retaliation or sit tight? Bearing in mind I'm very close to Edinburgh and have a wife and 2 kids and the idea of a house break for keys is really concerning.
  20. These are 18" on my WRX running 225/35/18 it will give you some idea.
  21. sneaked round for a look this evening great looking car. Did I also pass you close to Mossmorren at about 8.45 this morn? I was in the works Leon so never waved.
  22. Hi Shibby Nice spec mate, the mother in law stays just in front of yours at Trenchard Place, you may see the the 08 WRX there from time to time. Best of luck getting the car smooth.
  23. Its the same car, he takes the hoover hose off and the price goes up. Bizarre.
  24. Questions asked The 420 BHP you are claiming is this proven? What suspension system are you running? Do you have an uprated intercooler? What make are your 4 pots? Service History? What tyres on each corner? How often has the oil been changed and with what make and viscosity? and the answers Hi the 420 bhp is tested in santapod, the suspentions are cusca pro adjustble, there is no service history the car is imported to uk, the oil, spurks, oil filter, fuel filter is changed every 3-4 months mobil used I still have some in garage, weels are still very good condition and low profile but I cant remember the make sorry, intercooler system is not been changed by me but when they reemaped the car they said I dont need to change it because the ecu is adjusble and they adjusted through the ecu thanks :D
