  1. ahhh well no 4 decided enough was enough and now only has a compression of 50 question is do i or rather can i afford to do a forged build or sell on as spares
  2. They are not the same set up! if you go on scoobynet and speak to Bren he is the importer for both apex and BC's
  3. Mark..... give me a bell on 401253 i have the BC's on my hawkeye and they are awesome!! i got mine from scoobyworld in Leicester as part of there stage 3 handling pack and i would highly recomend them. I took the car over to get it all done and was there most of the day. all i would say is if you get the BC's get the extenders about £25 more, that way its so easy to adjust the damping. I have mine set at 8, so pretty hard for the damping but works well with the spring rate its a lil harder than an STI/spec C but its not as hard as the new STI coilover set up. http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=228&products_id=1578
  4. if any one is interested i have 2 Xray XB8 nitro race cars for sale and would come with lost of spares.... the pic is of the actual car from rrci feature just after it was built

I have 2 x Xray XB8's one of which is a ex scott bass and rrci feature car. both of which are up for sale. the mk1 escort is taking all my cash at the moment and i no longer have time to race them.

  8. i am getting the dreaded knocking from the rear..... i have an 07 wrx and i am finding it a major pain in the a55 to find replacement shocks with out buying the main dealer trash at £800 + fitting just for the rears. i have looked into coilovers but where i live... the isle of man, well its not suitable as they will be too harsh and too low for our roads. i can only find strutts listed for 05 vehicles, can anyone point me in the right direction or am i just waiting my time??? any help is appreciated. Dave
  9. i was told to stay away from K&N due to the oil. i fitted a TSL Motosport grp N Green filter and i must say its worth every penny. TSL I also have their cat back Grp N system.
  10. I'm thinking of upgrading the head unit for a multi function DVD sat nav etc. Anyone already done? I have £600 to spend Inc fitting. Any sugestions?
  11. Try privilage, they were the best for me, ive had my scoob 3 months and it was 400 with 600 excess, however i do have full no claims and live in low crime area. My mates misses uses diamond insurance and they were by far the cheapest for her!

  18. Ive just bought an 07 wrx and i have fitted the Green Grp N filter and TSL exhaust and thats quick enough for me at the mo, i will be giving it a remap eventually. However my car is now slightly down on power with the GB270 that my mate has, but its not down to just performance, its how you dance on the peddles that count. Im lucky enough to live in the iom where there are NO speed limits when out of towns and yes sometimes you get carried away go with the wrx you wont buy a better car thats affordable imho
  19. i have a 07 wrx hawkeye that i have fitte dthe TSL Group N backbox and was looking at fitting the de-resonator my self, i have had a fantastic experience with TSL so far and will defo use them again.
  20. couldnt get cover for my 07 hawkeye wrx without a tracker, best i found was smartrack protector plus £300 +135pa sub for full european cover. £1200 no cover for theft, as soon as they had the cert £425 with PNCB. Im 32 with full ncb and 1 claim for damage... someone left a trolley in the side of my civic a couple of years ago and this is my first fast scoob. KM wouldnt quote as ive not owned the scoob for 12mths Oh and i live in the isle of man and a tracker will not work here!!! police dont have the equipment and the ferry only leaves twice a day!
  21. i have owned my hawkeye for nearly 2 months.... it took me all of a week to start spending i started with black side repeaters £10 off ebay Scooby world rally mud flaps £60 TSL Motorsport Group N 4" back box £200 TSL Motorsport Group N center section (on Way) £100 TSL Motorsport Group N - Green Panel filter £50 I did however buy a nice set of 10 spoke gold STI rims and a new set of Kumho KU31 tyres and they DONT fit I was told by 3 people 2 of which are supposed to be specialists that my car was pcd 114, when its actually 100.. these are for sale BTW more to come but my Mk1 Escort takes all my cash im affraid
