ideally could do with another three or four but yes, it will be going ahead. It's now just a case of where and when. We've three possible locations (and anything Big D may have in mind) so I'll be visiting each one, taking some test shots and deciding which will be best suited.

I'm not moaning, it's just an observation.
-
Well that's the main thing isn't it. That's what we all join for Admitidly, I only tend to notice what's going on your way when it all kicks off but it does always seem someones moaning about something... Just have my concerns as to how that might look to new members is all?

Oxon's just fine thanks... To answer you question, I'm Stu. Think your response answers my question!

My god, do you lot ever stop?

Anyone else? Come on guys, I'm going to need at least 7>10 cars to make this worth digging into my own pocket for!

Hi guys, Well, despite the rain, I'm still adamant that 'tis the season to be out and about blasting through the lanes in the sunshine so... we're going to have another mini meet! We will be meeting at the usual spot - The Harvester in Kidlington at 11:30am and then rather than stopping for something to eat, we will be traveling in convoy through the lanes along past Finstock to Leafield where, for anyone who hasn't been lucky enough to go down there before, there's a fantastic single track road running up along the edge of Wychwood. We MAY stop half way down here for a few photos if the weather's nice! From there we'll be taking the B4437 down into Burford with is a REALLY fun bit of road! From there we will take the B4425 - a real favourite with bikers as it's a nice twisty road but with plenty of visibility! We'll be following that down to Bibury and stop there for a chance for everyone get some photos of the cars etc... nothing too set in stone, just a chance to take stock, catch up and maybe grab a drink etc Previously I've suggested following the road down towards Cirencester and making a big loop but after a recce with Big 'D' I think parking up for some pics and cold one in Bibury before heading back up through the twisties to the A40 will make for a really enjoyable run! Cheers, Stu Names on the list please! 01. Stu 02. 03. 04. 05. 06. 07. 08. 09. 10.

I've had three windscreens in 2yrs on the scoob and two of them where replaced without having to pay the excess (replaced due to windscreen fitter error) so all three have set me back £55! Insurance keeps going down year-on-year so I can't see it having affected renewal quotes either!

Whoops! Here was me thinking it was yesterday! Will consult the boss! =================================== Well the plan was to come down but it looks like the car will be in the garage having the bodywork fixed (two new doors on the passenger side by the look of it!). Not my fault and all liability taken by the other driver (I was parked in the office car park) but it does mean I'll be driving a courtesy car for a week or two! Sorry guys, will try and get down for the next one.

Well I heard back from Blenheim Palace today who confirmed that a shoot on their grounds will be anything upto £2000 PER HOUR!!!! So that's definitely a No No on that front BUT that's not going to stop us... speaking to a pro car photographer from the region on Monday for some location advice so that should throw up a good few options! An abandoned power station has already been discussed as a possibility!
-
I'm still up for it but it'll depend on how a couple of other things pan out on the day tbh.
-
Well I was thinking that if we did an 'urban' shoot, it would be at night so no traffic but if Iain can 'pull some strings' I think it'll be REALLY good to have the location as something a little different! HINT, HINT!

Hi guys, I'm toying with the idea of organising a photoshoot for the local members and their cars but wanted to see what level of interest there was. I had originally approached Blenheim Palace but that looks like a no go now SO... what do you lot fancy? A gritty, urban landscape or the beautiful rolling hills of The Cotswolds? Looks likely to be something we do late July or August so we still have some chance of good weather. If you're interested, get your names down below so I can see if it's worth getting it all organised. Cheers, Stu

Looks like a good turnout! Gutted I couldn't be there but didn't think you would be that keen on me coughing up a lung over your lunch!
-
A few more of the same really... Thanks everyone who came by the way, was a really good evening! ...and a couple of the ones that caught my attention on other club stands
-
Not to worry mate. I'm sure we'll be seeing you soon anyway? Enjoy the sunshine!
-
Aaah, no worries... will just have to go it alone! Used to tear up Minis on the oval there so there's no way I'll be missing out on an excuse to head back down!

Is there still going to be and SIDC presence here? Need to get it confirmed in the diary!

Right then... Meeting times and locations for Witney Car Show are as follows: 5:30pm meet at Total petrol station on Ducklington Island, just off the A40 at Witney (Map Here) We will be leaving here at 5:45pm at the absolute latest so with the traffic around Witney amd surrounding areas at this time, make sure you're there in plenty of time. =========================== For anyone Coming from Oxford or traveling up the A34, I will be waiting in the first layby on the A420 (just off the Botley Interchange - Link to Map Here) at 5:00pm to convoy up to Witney through Farmoor/Eynsham. I imagine that the convoy will be arriving at Total in Witney to meet the others at approx 5:35pm. =========================== See you there guys!

Loving motors Chris! Make mine look like childrens toys... hold on, at your age, I guess they would be! You've had a what, 30 year head start on us young 'uns? Do you not think the grille on the red one makes it looks a little like a Monaro/VXR8?
