Personally speaking (and bearing in mind that this is my own opinion and not that of SIDC or Big D for that matter as I haven't yet spoken with him about this), I think that although a commendable idea it probably wouldn't work out in the long term. Don't get me wrong, I've suggested it myself in the past (it wouldn't be difficult as I design websites for a living) but off the back of advice from members with far more insight than me and having seen how similar ideas have (in the long term) negatively affected certain other regions, I think it's best to keep things very much as they stand in terms of an Oxon web presence. I don't know about you guys but I've always seen SIDC as the spiritual home of OSC. That said, I think any and all ideas that draw attention to what we do and stand to encourage more members is a good thing and I for one would like to see more of it! incedentally, if anyone has any suggestions for the club, then do shout out, after all, the clubs here for everyone and it's the members that make it what it is.

Hi guys, As promised, I have now arranged a time and date for our photoshoot! We will be meeting at 4:15pm at the Botley Park & Ride in Oxford with the intention of traveling down in convoy to the site location at 4:45pm. Link to the map here The shoot itself will start at 5pm and will last approximately 90mins. The plan is to end up with a selection of group shots and at least one shot of each car in attendance. After the shots have been touched up, you will all have a digital copy provided and if you wish, we can arrange for printing too. There will be no charge for the shoot by the way... Call it a thank you from us to you! I'm going to insist that anyone who attends meets us at the convoy point only as the last thing we need is for people close to the location to get upset by cars loitering around! I'm sure it'll all be fine but it's not worth risking it for everyone else. ^^^THIS IS THE SHOOT LOCATION^^^ Obviously the usual warnings stand (no tearing up the grass, pick up your own litter etc) but this will be heavily reliant on the weather so keep an eye on this thread for updates! I do like the Ken Block/DC Shoes graphics but if you're going to do it, get a proper set (correct typeface and layout of the DC Shoe Co. graphics for example)... it'll just look like a cheap emulation otherwise and won't do the car any favours at all! Did see the full set on ebay not too long ago... was £400ish and went within hours so I wouldn't imagine there will be many about!

Hassle or otherwise, it'll be worth it! Keep up the good work guys! It WILL be a good one, I've no doubt of that!

Don't worry mate, to be honest, I only properly realised who you where once I was in the car park and saw the car anyway! I'm terrible as well, forever forgetting names too! Yeah, from Cartoontown it should be a nice run through the lanes... you'll just have to watch out for all the bugs hiding in the shade of the hedges! That, or come in convoy and go at the back
