  1. soz i probably didnt explain it very well, i was going to keep standard intake which is just behind offside headlight, this leads through into the air filter box just behind. i was going to change the part where it goes from the air filter box up into an empty air box which leads into the throttle body. it does have a sensor just after the filter box so i would go from after that and just use a bit of flexible tubing to loop around and into the throttle body, replacing the empty box.

hope that made more sense :)

Yes, makes sense. The sensor is the air intake temp sensor. I can't see it making much difference if the standard filter is in or otherwise but personally I would want the filter as close as possible to the intake manifold being as you've had years of crap building up in the intake before the existing filter.

  2. Worst possible thing to happen to Star Wars. Disney! Really?!? You've all see what they've done to Pixar and that's cartoons!

Okay so there is likely to be more Starwars episodes but at what cost?

  5. Glad you got it sorted mate. I know only too well how bad it can be when a bonnet pops up at speed.

18 months ago I had the scoob in for a respray on the bumper. I didn't know at the time but they had popped the bonnet looking for the paint code and not shut it properly... Pulled onto a dual carriageway and as I was overtaking in the outside lane around "70ish" the bonnet came up - I hit the Armco, span 360 in front of the car I was passing, hit the curb, bounced up and was less than a foot from a 15m drop when I came to a stop. Suffice to say I was bloody lucky!
