Hello,
Quick question....
HDi Boost Controller - are these a safe bet as oposed to a Dawes Device?
I was reading through this Scoobypedia Newage Mods but have read also conflicting stories about MBC's.
Soooo, I looked at Electronic Boost Controllers, especially the HDi one - can this be fitted, safely, to a newage STi PPP?
Is it a MUST to have a remap when fitting a boost controller?
Any advice would be great, escpecially first hand experiance.....

Chameleon in Renfew mate - they do a same day service for around £200.
Leave the car at 9:30 - collect at 17:30 all done, car washed etc
Highly recomended from me.

Another for Propaint in Chapelhall.
Recently repaired my mates 3dr RS Cosworth - stunning job.
-
Correct
Mine is a Prodrive Style (as stated on V5, Blue Dials, front bumper etc etc)
The PPP was added to mine in 2006 - I would like to drive a non PPP 265ps to feel the difference.
-
The 02 STi Prodrive will only have 305PS if it too has the PPP fitted.
Standard STi is 265.
I get similar mpg to the above, £20 is roughly 100 miles of mixed driving, hard driving half that.
(mine has PPP, green filter, PFR7B plugs, catback TSL Firestorm)

I passed a grey unmarked Evo 2 weeks ago on the M8 - I wondered if it was part of the fleet or just an evaluation model.

I will give chamelion a phone tomoro i think.
You won't go wrong with William mate - top man, perfectionist!
I'll get photos of mine up soon

Chameleon Renfrew - I got mine done friday there, in and out in one day.
Dropped the car off at 9am picked it up at 4pm.
Great service and even better prices!
-
T S L ,did you get it from scooby222 ?
Sure did mate
-
Guilty!
Work in process, missing centre caps (Scotpaints were shut today) plus TSL Firestorm to fit tomorrow if this monsoon goes away
What were you in?

Spotted a Black Bugeye STi with small plate just at Sainsburys petrol station Braehead.
Just clocked you at the last minute as I was heading in to pick the Mrs up (after picking the car up from the powdercoaters)

I telephoned S&S in Ayrshire, even quoted the original VRN as the car has had work there - the chap was very vaugue, almost cagey - was meant to get a call back, nothing! (and that was well over 4 weeks ago)
I was told I can approach a automotive paint company - such as Scott Paints Chapelhall who are very close to me, they can match the paint if I can show them a wheel - which obviously I can after they are refurbished.
I was also offered via another subaru based forum to have them done for £100 if I take just the alloys in, but the colour doesn't look proper Subaru gold (which is what I'm after)
The alloys as they stand......
(not the best picture mind)
-
Hard to watch, very graphic - serious stuff!
-
I was quoted £160 and £200 via another forum for the service you state mate.
They can't do centre caps - that is a problem as I can't get the same colour paint readily over the counter (i.e Halfords, Dealer etc) as the paint code seems top secret.
-
Looking to have my STi alloys refurbished back to the original gold colour (from anthracite).
Any recomendations - quality, price, timescale etc
Cheers

Do the crime, you do the time - and by god are they paying now!
As soon as you willingly step foot in a stolen car, you deserve all that comes to you in my view.

I've been waved at twice in my few months of ownership (I own a bugeye STi) - blue bugeye wagon Chapelhall, and blue bugeye STi with Decals at Showcase Lanarkshire.
I always feel a knob waving and getting no wave or a dirty look in return - so now I give a discrete nod of the head.

Hi folks
Can someone confirm the main beam bulb fitment on the 2002 Impreza WRX STi Prodrive?
I know WRX bugeyes have H4, but I have had conflicting info that the STi bugeye has H7 or H1.
Cheers

Hi
I have a 2002MY STi fitted with the PPP therefore having the Prodrive exhaust.
I have been offered a Magnex Backbox(6x4) and Magnex Centre Section.
Will the Magnex be significantly louder without being silly?
Any newage owners with a Magnex fitted?
Any opinions?
Cheers

Spotted a Bugeye in WR Blue with rally type decals, spotted at Showcase roundabout in Bargeddie.
Looked cool - I was in the blue Bugeye STi, with crap looking dark wheels
-
As title,
I'm looking for the paint code Subaru use on their standard 17" STi Alloys fitted to 2002 cars.
Thanks
