  1. Yours is the 1 that always grabs my attention to be honest with you
  2. Are they based in Kent? As I have looked on yell.com for them but cant find them.
  3. Its £30 an hours labour. He's built a 12sec MR2 so must know his stuff. Picking it up tomorrow for a couple of bigish jobs, see how much that'll be!
  4. Looks like it's just through the Dartford tunnel, possibly on the same estate as Lakeside, or very close.
  5. I really wish I wasn't working this day. If only I hadn't spent half of what I originally brought the car for in the first place recently, i'd definitely be pulling a sicky to get down there. Hope you all have a great day.
  6. Kind of give it an evo 4ish look in my eyes with that picture.
  7. Not having a lot of luck with Barretts in Canterbury, only 1 person there who can deal with it and he's on his day off today and training tomorrow. I've got all the other parts I need, just not the camshaft oil seals.
  8. Think I may be going for the 1st time, as its near where my Mum lives so it's an excuse to pop in and say hi. Has anyone been from here? and is it any good?
  9. Just got rid of my run around the other day, but my wrx has had to go to the mechanics to replace the rocker cover gasket and do the crankshaft oil seal. So need a runner to get me about for a bit. Give us a shout if you know anyone thats got something with a bit of test and ticket, thats cheap.
  10. Got Alex to do it from Hiroshima Power for about an hour and a halfs labour (£45) You've got to have pretty small hands to get down there.
  11. The drivers side.
  12. The jobs there if you want it!!
  13. I'm working that day unfortunately. I'll give BD Engineering a call & Mr Clutch - but if there prices are anything like there clutches I think they'll be pricey! I've got to give my rocker cover gasket a change (Looks like a nasty little job) before I take it on the rollers as it' leaking oil a good'n at the moment.
  14. Just wanting to know if theres any cheap rolling roads in Kent to take my Impreza this week. I'm from Ashford and the closest one to me i've found is Chariots of Fire in Canterbury, its £40+VAT which seems a little steep in my eyes.
  15. Have they ever done this sort of thing before, where people can go out on the track? and any plans for them to do it again in the future? Shame i'm working that day, just purchasing the my car, I need to get the double time they'll pay me for a bank holiday.
  16. Working that day, it's not anywhere near Crawley way is it? as I could pop out for an hour or 2.
  17. Managed to get someone called Alex who owns Hiroshima Power ( Toyota MR2 Turbo Hiroshima Power Best Time/Speed: 12.092s @ 126.780 mph) he's worked on one of my cars before and he's doing it for £30 an hour. 4 hours worst case scenario he's said, and he'll get the flywheel skimmed for £40.
  18. Mines a 93 Wrx as well, only got it yesterday (knew the clutch was shagged before picking it up, just not quite as bad as it was) Never changed a clutch before, just know from what i've read on the how to do's posts that it'd be past me.
  19. Think i've decided to go for a standard Exedy clutch. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Subaru-Impreza-Turbo...1QQcmdZViewItem Just need someone to put it in for me as it's meant to be as it's meant to be a bit of pig of a job for a first timer like myself. Anywhere in Kent would be fine for me really as the car is still drivable at the moment. Personally i'd like to do it myself with someone to talk me through it and then i'd know for next time. Many thanks
