Oooh some nice scoobys there well me and THE REX are off to cars and coffee at coventry transport meseum this saturday so best polish the old girl up friday nite 

No danger of you or your lad driving THE 1 slowly POWWWEEERRRR????

So after several hours of soapy water,hairdryer and choice swear words i can say im well chuffed with the results of my labour few creases in the main overlays but hell for my first attemp im well fookin pleased 

Well i was trucking along in the mighty actros on the M60 at manchester and came to a stop in traffic after a few minutes went to set off and thought i had the truck in neutral but nope it was in gear aaahhh bollox i thought no drive to axles so after causing a 3mile tailback on manchesters busiest motorway i was hitched up to a wrecker and dragged to lymm truckstop so my boss has a big bill coming and a bill from highways england as their plastic policemen shut the lane £350 bloody hell 

Spent a hour or two on THE REX at weekend changing the standard rear fog light cluster for a jdm clear cluster and the difference is amazing makes the  the rear end look a lot tidyier and lioks the MUTTS NUTTS gotta try and fit the overlays next 

Well im getting old with you bruv cos middle lane hoggers give me a serious case of tourettes at times.at least learners will have a bit more respect and knowledge of motorways and how to enter and exit them so many times me and the mighty actros have had brown trouser moments when cars just drift onto the motorway without indicators or building up speed so in my opinion its a good thing roll on the zimmer frame and mushed up food 

Hya jonboy ive got a 2008 wrx hatchback welcome to the madhouse let me know what mods your thinking off because im having trouble finding anything for my wrx hatch but plenty for the STI hatch gggrrrr lol

A little phone call from the crew at scoobyworld telling me THE REXs  bonnet cable has been sorted  so ive treated the old girl to a oil and filter change so hopefully no more bonnet issues mmmmm now do i invest in a carbon bonnet as i know a man with some aero bonnet catches gathering dust in a cupboard

After a couple of hours tinkering this afternoon the new stereo with sat nav is all plumbed in and working and i must say im impressed as the standard stereo that was in THE REX looked like it belonged in the 80s just gotta route the cable for the microphone through the dash for the hands free option but im chuffed for now 

Well as we had a long bank holiday weekend i thought i would spend some time with my gorgous son so after brekkie we hit the road in THE REX and ended up at east mids airport had a mooch round the donnigton collection and had lunch in the VERY pricey cafe so hit the road again to the other side of the airport and spent a few hours clambering in and out of several aircraft incuding the vulcan and the nimrod and other fighter jets all in all a cracking day until rain stopped play is anyone else sick of the rain 

Its booked in on the 8th of this month at scoobyworld to let them work their magic ive been told by them its a front bumper off job to sort it at least if they break owt while doing it they can fix it lol  instead of me throwing spanners about and having a case of tourettes

Wandering around aldi earlier today i saw this and it made me chuckle dunno about everyone else but i wouldnt fancy chewing on one 

Thanks don ive got the steering wheel control lead it came with the stereo i thought it was just a case of plugging in the gps aireal and  sat nav would work   

Thanks don and i have another question i bought a upgraded stereo with sat nav for THE REX on removing the standard one i noticed its held in with four screws ive got the facia for the dash but do i need a adapter to screw into the place where the standard one fits as the snatch plate seems to have no way of screwing to the mounting holes any help much appreciated

After much searching on the tinterweb for a replacement gear knob for THE REX i found a vid how to change the standard knob for a cobb tuning one on you tube. but im struggling to find one anywhere. now the standard gear knob is mint but its the wrong shape i prefer a round knob  oh my thats it i will await all the comments on the shape of my knob anyway if any one has any info where i can get a cobb gear knob let me know cheers all

While delivering a load of bio-mas to shotton paper mill in deeside i spotted this fine example of a scoob in fact its so nice there keeping it behind bars 

I know what your saying ive emailed them to see what my options are ive always hed good customer service from them 

No bruv cant see anything so only option is get it booked in at scoobyworld and let them work there magic i reckon front bumbers gotta come off 

So i pulled the bonnet catch to check THE REXS bodily fluids and there was a loud crack Aaaarrrrggghhh guess the bloody cable has snapped any ideas how to get bonnet up and how to replace the cable or is it a garage job
