so after many failed attempts to meet up with the flozster we managed to meet up today unfortunately due to technical issues with both my scoobys i had to borrow the better halfs cheverolet aveo 1.2 ???after a arse clenching drive up the M1 in said chevy i was ready for a stiff drink so lemonade and blackcurrant was ordered was brilliant to see the flozster being his general wacky self and after a couple of drinks and a good catch up i pointed the chevy south and headed home so it was was bloody good to see him and we will definitely be doing it again soon good to see you big man and please don't mention the ticket machine ????

or find a magical cupboard full of scooby spares ??????

ran out of no more nails used too much on THE REX oh well the covers on its way so all sorted for now and the engine is looking and sounding much better now just needba prodrive front bumper and ill be a happy bunny ???

hi all hope all is well with you and your scoobys im after a front left hand timing belt cover for ir my bugeye wrx 2001 i can find plenty of right hand ones but not many left hand ones the one that was fitted was cracked and when it was removed it fell to bits any information greatly appreciated cheers joff

so just had a look at the turbo on my bugeye to get apart number and there isn't one ive got a pic where it should be but its a blank space any ideas how I can identify it short of taking it off and measuring the intakes etc cheers all

im looking for a turbo to chuck on and send the knackered one off to be rebuilt as i need to be able to move the scooby as its on a shared drive so it needs to run so looking for a cheap ebay special just to tide me over thanks for the info MR DON

so can anyone tell me the specifications of a TDO5 16g turbo inlet pipe diameter outlet diameter etc etc any help much appreciated as im trying to get the right turbo many thanks

slightly off the topic of dump valves just after a bit of information im looking at replacing the turbo on my bugeye and its currently got a TDO5 16g on it what does the 16g mean and would it matter if i fitted a 16g 18g or a 20g from what information i can find on the tinterweb its ok to run a 18g or a 20g any thoughts cheers all

well the sun was out and i thought i would give the bugeye a scrub up so after a couple of hours of TLC and dodo juice i was more than happy with the results and the smoking issues seems to have disappeared mmmm making my head hurt anyway heres a pic or two

Thanks me don so according to that video remove the butterfly valves seems a lot of aggro to me will it make a difference power wise or are the gains not worth all the taking things apart ?

Oh ok ive never heard of them so if they restrict the engine i assume they can be removed
