Of course but will be nothing compared to your 500+ car
-
We'll find out lol, Andy Forrest recommended running it at 1.6bar(mid-range) with additive
If it goes pop then I'll go forged internals but not changing the internals just now to run 400bhp.
-
Just a really well put together engine
Pulls well, I'd expect the torque to be a wee bit higher again at 1.6bar and maybe the bhp to reach 400.
-
Whatever ones they were, the lack of grip and stability was scary
-
Had toyo's once and never again, tyre wall is too soft and wasn't impressed with the grip IMO.
Currently using Dunlop SP Sport Maxx TT's and they are fantastic. More expensive, but worth it.
-
When I left there were 2 Skylines over 500bhp, no idea on the torque
2 or 3 Evo's just over 300bhp, no idea on there torque either
And then a few impreza's close to 300bhp as well
My Figures were 356bhp and 420 ft/lb torque

Thanks guys, had a really good time and a really good laugh!
Special thanks to Paul, Bobby and sti pretender for the moral support when my car was on the rollers! (I'm still shaking lol)
Glad we beat the evo's!!
-
I think it looks hideous.
If you go the evo route then find yourself a really nice Tommi Mak
That evo is rank mate! Back end is horrid!

I do a lot of detailing and I have a unit in Bonney Bridge so not too far from you.
Drop me a PM if you are interested and I'll send some pics of my work and also get you a quote.

9am.......on a sunday!!! doh!

Welcome to the site mate, car is stunning!!
Lowered and a new exhaust and it'll look unreal
-
I've known a lot of people that have used hypertechs rollers and not one has made their expected power, but as stated it is mostly for pub talk and doesn't always could for much when actually on the road.
Looking forward to see what everyone makes on sunday
-
why do you say their figures are "way off"??always found dyno dynamics rollers to be pretty good....
Search any number of forums mate and you'll have your answer (HTUK, Falkirkcruise, VAG Owners etc....). Everyones cars were down around 40bhp, even my mates standard Hawkeye STI was given 240bhp reading at hypertech and was ment to be doing well at that according to them, he then took it to Extreme and it was just shy of 300bhp with no changes made to the car. I could list more similar examples if your interested.

Welcome to the site mate

Think I might pop along actually, don't fancy putting my car on hypertech's rollers unless your really struggling(and it's not too low), their figures are way off tbh but I'll be there and will make a donation anyway.
