On the subject of "non brits" whilst looking round a few scrappies for some bits and bobs there was quite a few of these gathering parts of several different cars!!! thought it strange at the time but obviously this is a way of making some money
Hi all just been informed by one of my shop customers(works for L&B Police) that there has been another classic wrx stolen from portobello!!! He saw mine at work and said I should get it out of sight so thats it!! its getting left in the garage now till I can get a tracker fitted to it!! It was a red M reg saloon taken!!
Have decided to get my tesco trolley dents fixed also have a few rust spots coming through too on the rear arches!! Anybody reasonably priced in my area?? better get them done before they get worse
Cheers
Dilemma!!! New lights fitted...but dont think I like them
the grill is about half inch shorter on either side!! Can I get another grill to fit or scrap them and go back to the originals
I find that because i drive a wagon, some seem to think its not a scooby so turn away and don't wave back...I always try to wave altho sometimes a bit late in spotting them
We need some sort of recognition(I still have my Mcrae Gathering sticker on the bonnet lol)
I have managed to get the spot off only 2 bolts sheared the one for the indicator and the one below it the other 2 were a bit rusty but eventually got them!! Think thats what was wrong as tried to turn the nuts at the back then realised they were welded on will have a look tomorrow to see if I can remove the thin metal square.....thanks for that
Well have fitted the lights today ........nearly!!!! the last bl@@dy bolt to remove on the indicator sheared in half!!!!! Then when i tried to remove the spot to get better access one of them sheared off too But never mind i am well proud of myself for fitting them PS any ideas how to get the remaining part of the bolt out? Can i drill it out or will that wreck the thread for new ones
Thanks
Hi all have just bought new headlights, side lights and front indicators for my classic ...are they quite easy to fit ie spanner, screwdriver etc (or should I say will I manage myself )
