Go easy on yourself, was just a glitch. Next time you start feeling a tense, get some ad-hoc exercise and spread endorphines round your bod by jumping Ed!!
-
Yep, you guys keep him talking, I'll let security know.......
-
And what's that dude doing joining-in towards the end too? Are these crazy Italians?
-
Hats off to you, you are one brave lady - we'll all be there to celebrate each milestone you achieve (are you going to get a ticker to go in your siggy?) My late OH had type 2 diabetes and it wasn't much fun so It's great to hear you're so determined not to go there. How cool is it you're raising money for such a good cause as you go? Top bird!

Only just spied this thread - looks so exciting to overhawl & rebuild your own scooby - don't miss telling us ANYTHING Jacqui, I am now hooked! Have you got a date for your theory test?

I didn't realise spankings were an integral part of SW SIDC Meets?! *glam redoubles her resolve to make one sooooooooon!*
-
Thank you for the link Can you just assume that I'm gonna need spoon-feeding for a month or so! I know nowt but lovin' the subject!
-
Sorta like these?

Would you folks prefer a SW scooby spotting sticky?

Good point, no worries -

Yippeee! Tis true but I just thought it would be more fun to have a localised one (more chance of fame?!) coz it would be more relevant to us folks? -
Hey nice one Ed! (just had a newb revelation - are you Ed as in MR Princess Scooby?!) I gave up on Aug BH & fell off the wagon a couple of weeks back for a few days but stopped again without any trouble (God only knows how because I have failed about 1 million times before!) so I have also got a bit of a food fetish to replace them! I'm also now sinking the pints of Butcombe at a furious rate because I don't need time-off to make rollies! glam (soon to be Mr Creosote)

Wimpy, I used to live around your parts. Nope, that sounds so wrong, have to start again - I was a Bucks gal for a few years! Did anyone hear about those guys who are going down for a long time for shooting swans in Bucks? I played in a band with one of them about 20 yrs ago and he was the sweetest, most innocent bloke you could wish to know. Goes to show how 'falling in with the wrong crowd' can mess you up........ Best thing about Bucks - spoilt for choice for quality pub food

Vroom vroom, the Evo actually looks fab *reaching for bar of soap to wash out my mouth!* Alfa 156 also looks a sleek customer (have a soft spot for Alfa's as long as I'm not paying the maintenance bills!) I got to drive this 159 the 3.2 V6 24v 260 bhp version a couple of weeks ago - I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I proudly waved at 3 nice examples yesterday.... not a dicky bird!! Mind you, 1 was tearing round a bend on the opposite carriage-way at such pace to be fair, 'twould have been risky for him to have waved / flashed! Do you find that Scooby drivers are likely to flash / respond or not?

Tescos in Wells don't do Nuffin'! (sorry Hot Fuzz moment) She seems to be moving great on the 97 though
-
Really? TBH someone else said that to me but I wanted a second opinion (nope it hasn't been remapped....... maybe in the future?!) So I won't be doing the engine any long-term damage? Thanks buddy

'98 Turbo 2000 awd, UK

cheers, being new to all this I hadn't heard of octane booster but I like the sound of it.
-
Do you know of a website listing where 99 grade is available nationally? Bit Trainspottery, I know but just in case someone may have done one?! I live in Wells in case anyone knows the area intimately & I've missed somewhere which now sells it? As far as I can tell, the best I can do round here is 97 & the nearest 99 is about 1/3rd of a tank's worth away!!

Thanks for all your help above fellas. I had a result - what d'you think of this beauty? The 2 previous owners have looked after her beautifully and I am chuffed to bits. Picking her up tomorrow and can't wait

Thanks! Can't wait to have the wheels to merit hanging round here! Thanks for those figures parker, I am not looking at imports (although I can see there are loads of happy folks on here with them on here) - advice from the mechanic who will be servicing the car (&OH's best mate!) This is the current shortlist (I am dreaming about them now - research is getting intense!) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...A:IT&ih=007 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...A:IT&ih=017 and this one http://www.exchangeandmart.co.uk/iad/car/o...?emcode=8926494 Anyone got a view on which should be the front runner?

yeah thanks that's one of my regular haunts, I swear I have spent nearly the whole day looking! I have revised my budget to £7k and might be getting somewhere now. It doesn't help that I was surprised that a Turbo (not WRX) has 280bhp & a WRX Prodrive PPP WR is 265bhp? I could use a course on understanding the 100 or so different specs! It'll soooo be worth it though. I saw a youngish lad cruising past in a lovely WRX STi today and couldn't help grinning widely at him - I was walking, he must have thought I was nuts!
