Thanks for your reply above I have been trawling through here & scoobynet but I was really just hoping if I've got the money totally out of proportion someone would laugh at me & put me straight! Seeing some of the meet pics though, those bad boys on there are all top of the range really - look GREAT too.

Hello there all I have been after one of these babies for a long time but when I managed to mash my Fiat Coupe comprehensively on a diesel-splattered surface ( I was cornering reasonably sensibly!) I now have the perfect excuse, because I reckon a 4WD would have held it. (pic of Fiat below to prove that you can walk away from a 520 degree spin in one of those things sometimes!) So I have set a budget of £5k (could go slightly higher if nec) and have been scouring ebay/autotrader online for a WRX (not import) less than 60k & younger than 8 years old & not an import. Haven't come-up with much.... So what do you fellas think? Am I expecting too much for this budget & if so, what would be a realistic price for my criteria?
