  3. I live in Angus and they do this all the time I am affraid the council are a law to there own, do what they want, when they want, how they want as they know nobody can pull them in to check I have had more hassle than its worth to even entertain them anymore, there tactics and mind set are beyond me
  4. nice car I would be telling the dealer to take the big sign off the roof cause it may mark the paint esp it being black Hope you enjoy
  5. it so easy - hair dryer, hold a couple mm from the badge and they just peel off, you will need to polish then wax after. Takes about half an hour I did mine last weekend and it looks soooo much better, I left the WRX on and i think it needs it
  6. My mate is looking for a cheap Van he can make into a valeting van or a van that has already got all the kit installed for use as a valeting van…. he is based in Arbroath but willing to travel for the right one… incidentally he is very good! Thanks in advance

I have been told that these tyres are no longer getting made... but I really like them and need to replace the front two on my WRX, does anyone know if there is a direct replacment tyre now getting made or what would be the next best?? I like there awesome dry weather and wet weather grip My tyre size is 225/45/18 if anyone knows of anyone with them in stock?
  10. With a nice classic blue waggon with black wheels... Nice car shame the road was not clear and the BMW had not moved for us to have another little punt
  11. Slighty off topic, but my I need a new panel filter for my 05 wrx - what are the best options?
  12. Think you are reading to much into this topic.... He is simply making other scooby owners aware of the problem he has @ T&C, one which is similer to mine - in turn making other users of that garage aware of what is happening, and what they are doing about it. It may turn out one of two ways 1. He comes back with a glowing report 2. He comes back with a bad taste in his mouth Either way, I would like to know how it has been handled, so I can make an educated choice of where to get warrenty / service work carried out in the future and seeing as I have had a problem there too, it kind of shows it's not a obne off... At the end of the day this is a Subaru forum and we all like to know where we can go to get our pride and joy looked after properly. As I said I like the staff up there and have bought two cars from them in 6 months... even after getting my scoob damaged and getting lied too.
  13. they damaged my side skirt when it was in to get a few bits done after i had bought the car from them... Thing was they were taking ages doing some minor stuff (to put new disks and pads on the front and a few other minors), so when I asked what was going on they said it was because they were down a member of staff, pushed this more after 8 days, only to be told they had damaged the side skirt so bad they had to replace it... When I go the car back they had put the wrong side skirt on!! Three weeks later I got it sorted... I would really push them hard to sort you out with some compensation. I like the staff up there, but I hate being told porkey pies
  14. lucky could have been far worse...
  15. thanks guys, you have confirmed my thoughts, I shall call him and tell him to wise up and use decent fuel!
  16. As above mates 05 WRX is feeling a little down on power... he has put in standard petrol for the last couple of tanks I am guessing that this is the issue, however want to make sure I ain't feeding him pish I drove the car back to back with my 05 WRX and it did feel like the turbo was not giving the kick that I get... Is there anything else that may cause this other than him being a class 1 prat and using cr@p fuel?? Cheers Scott
  17. no need in a 30 zone to be driving like that... the roads round wellbank are great for having a blast... just not in the villages
