Slightly off the main topic of this thread, a semi-sensible question :-), what is the purpose of shortening the wheelbase of the evo when it makes is so twitchy?

I dunno, on the first video, the three cars are passing a slower driver who has pulled to the left of the track to let them past. I would say in this situation, you should drive with caution until you are past the slower driver. Yet in the video you can hear the turbo spin up as he pushes it out of the corner, so much so that he can't hold his line and causes an accident that the slower driver has no way of avoiding. I would say this is bad driving or at the very least reckless.

What size wheels do you manage to squeeze of those beasts?
