If you can see that then i'll need my eyes tested
You and Greer's should go to speck savers...
-
yea i know mate, theres always 1 or 2 issues when you take this much on.
didnt get much done today as audi mark came down and started giving it
a bit of a polish
heres the swirl pot etc fitted
and heres how the engine bay looks now, dont think i'll be winning any bling awards, the water
pipe hanging out is for the aquamist
and heres the engine bay when we started
a chocolate watch goes to whoever can spot most differences lol
Can i see big power injectors under the daddy fuel rails ?
-
So how do the AST's behave differently compared to TEIN's on the rough stuff?
The AST,s can be set up for rebound witch will soak up the bumps. The TEIN.s rebound is to hard and
makes the car skip over the bumps loosing you traction.

£1100 for the short engine
And no questions asked
I will even give you a 24 hour guarantee
-
I know it's been a long time boys.... just sit back and enjoy the ride...
-
Much better
TBH, I can't really fault the Tein ones, but then again, it's not like I have a vast experince of anything car-realted let alone specifiics like coilovers. The car handling is fantastic, so I can't say more than that, Lovin' it!
For my tuppence worth the Tein's are as good as any on smooth roads but when things get rough they are duff...
-
you cannot compare a UK turbo against a STi, whether its jap or UK spec, trust me i have one of each at my door and the difference is night and day
the Jap ones rule
Are you offering a wee shot in the jap spec ?
-
Yes please! At this rate, if I put togeher all the promises of shots in Classics, it will be like owning one!
Me to John... still to drive a descent bone shaker, but for now the bug rule's
-
Now you tell me!
Sorry m8, i only know this after driving a few different cars. If it makes you feel better i have the tein kit as well
-
Did you have a female passenger at the time...
-
The BUGEYE is the best Scooby to date...
-
Might just go for KYB rear shocks for the moment as they are the replacement under the waranty until i do a bit of saving for a good set of coilovers. Not wanting a really hard ride on the road and not planning on tracking the car this year (if at all).
But you know what its like, will prob end up on the track at some point haha!!
I have driven cars with AST/TEIN/WHITELINE, at all above 400bhp and the AST and WHITELINE is streets ahead of the Tein kit...
If it was me i would go for the WHITELINE kit, same as the Higgmister and the Borheed Bomber you will not be disappointed...
-
aye cheers man,and no chance of them hoses blowing off under boost
Now that would make you look silly
-
-
my guess is 550-600 depending on fuel used
Yeah just had a wee look and its 570bhp wawaaaa Colin's should hit that and more.
Its going to be a good one
-
Aye right! Heard it.

I have followed this thread from 2006 with anticipation, is it all going to be finished this year.
-

-
