  3. That car looks sheet hot and with John behind the wheel am sure it will take a few scalps.

Nice John, very nice John, wish you good luck for this year. Go win it

  4. See the pic of Jac closed deck block is that uprated piston liners the wall thickness looks pretty chuncky .

Yes fully forged engine with 2.5lt crank and 79.5mm pistons which will give me a 2.35cc Just 80cc short of

a 2.5 but lots of meat left on the block. The liners are top hat.

  5. Any changes to this list then? JAC, I'm looking at you

  6. thats me just back after a wee detour to kirky to do a few laps of

    jac's test track!

went well at andy's today, car is pulling really well and is on full boost

at about 3500ish which makes for a nice road car.no power run on the simtek.

running 1.6 bar on v-power and 1.8-1.9bar on the the other stuff lol

so at a guess low 400s on map 1 and high 400s on map 2.car is a bit of handfull now

so will take a bit of getting used to.

    cheers again andy B)

What can i say mate... Awesome car,,, totally different to any scooby i have driven. It catapults

you in to the horizon from 3500rpm and with near 500 horses to play with,,, you got your self the ultimate all rounder.

Just don't loose concentration when you are giving her some stick... she is the real deal... no doubt...

Thank you James for the experience...

  7. I think you'll find Richard Burns as a driver won a World championship, Peugeot won the manufacurers championship that year :D

    QUOTE(JAC @ May 8 2008, 07:30 AM)

Richard Burns won the 2001 WRC drivers championship in a NEWAGE BUGEYE...

:P The BUG is the best scooby to date....

  8. Before making assumptions, read up on Homoligation rules etc.

Agreed on the last point though.

I currently have three 'classics' (stupid term, they're just old, not classics), and I'm building a 4rth, now, why would I want to do that if I thought a Bugly would serve me better ?

All the top cars in the country are based on the older chassis for a reason !!

How many WRC championships have Subaru won in a Bugeye ? :D Big Fat Zero :)

Richard Burns won the 2001 WRC drivers championship in a NEWAGE BUGEYE... :icon_salut:
