i did mine as well . also never used backing because im too tall. went on surprisingly easy. funny how we all spend ££££ on our subarus but go mental at the sign of stickers. he he

ps. i have to admit driving a micra for a while as well, and if i can fit in then so could anybody.

try running forrester , legacy and impreza. parents have the leggy and forrester and monthly fuel bill just for those two varies between £500-£800. I just use impreza on saturdays, mostly, and that means two trips to the pump every saturday. oh its good to have a moan though.

Aye was a quality day out. Many thanks to the organisers and imy for the quality gear. Squirrel cheers for giving my car the once over, boss. Well done to the fastone for getting the shed on the track - it spurd me on to give it a go. and abody else for the banter and making it a good day out. Oh aye an top gear the night to finish it off. i have two pots what you got? if you mean sliders - bit of emery cloth and bit of mintex brake paste, c-tech something or other. It a lot better than copper grease anyways. you might want to but a bit of it on spring clips as well where indentation or in some cases opposite is.

i have some irwin spiral socket thingies, their a bit dear but saved me many a time. well worth the investment. if you werent so far away you would have been welcome to them. edited to say: oh aye and you cant beat a proper original vise-grip amazing compared to cheap rubbish

no i am too tight i should really have gotten new caliper when i knew something wasnt 100%. oh well after one set of discs, replacement caliper and 2 sets of brake pads (well still waiting for one) i should know better. see one pot was slightly stiff to push back but brute force won in the end....................................or did it. lol

ok post went awol. was wondering on the tinyest of off chances if anybody in north east has a spare set of brake pads lying about for two pots. would collect the morn and have cash. just wanting to enjoy my scoob over weekend.
