  10. Hoi Squirrelkiller, go find a beach and take 20 years off your age.
  11. First production spec STI RA was in 1995 when the full STI production run were RA varients. Every STI RA has a roof ventilator. If you bring the car up i will dig out the manuals and we can decipher what she has got or not got. U8 is the ecu fitted to a 94 WRX, 7K is the ecu fitted to the STI RA. Bonus of the WRX RA is it has the sought after Closed Deck Block and TD05 turbo as std.
  12. Stay near McDonalds mate but alas it twas not me. Heading out on random drive to show the pupil some lines and the Dukes Pass is an excellent testing area Amazing how short a distance you need in a RA to pass someone on such a twisty road. Fecking love that car with its quick rack steering and beatiful suspension set up
  13. Terzo was such a nice car. New age then puts you off the Subaru brand. Trade it on for a MY00 Type R with low miles and go back to having some fun with the bleeding thing. or...... hire a muck spreader and coat International Motors in cow dung shouting "Castlemilk auld team, ya bass" What ever makes you happier
  14. Do you reckon they will loan the Stig one for a shot round the test track. Even when it all goes mammeries up, Colin still keeps it nice and cool.
  15. I touch goats boss GordyQ is the one to thank, i just remembered through the Tobagan haze that Gordy had a spare UK300 manifold. I would have said you should have kept the STI3 but it sh1t itself a day after you sold it
  16. Happy Birthday
  17. This has been on my radar for a while along with Test Drive Unlimited. Pikes Peak in Volter Rohrl's Audi.........HHHHMMM tasty
  18. Nice one.........Millport beach here i come
  19. A nice set of 225 wide tyres sitting on 7 or 7.5 inch wide alloys with 5 mm spacers all round Get shot of the Mud and Snow tyres asap unless you want the new car to go sideways like the old Skyline, only this time you wont enjoy it as it wont come back. Never had Toyos on a Subaru but they did perform well on my Honda, i liked the ZZ3's that i had on my Advans
  20. AWD in Perth would probably be your closest specialist.
  21. Good luck wee man. Pleasure to advise someone that followed the advise and got a damn fine car from the advise given. Pedals is gonna enjoy KITT i am sure of that. Keep in touch and enjoy your mountains
  22. Always had a soft spot for a M series Beemer. Loads of horsepower and RWD
  23. Essentially a front mount intercooler is more efficient at lowering the charge temp then the std top mount. The cooler you can get the inlet charge temp the more advance the engine can run safely without detting. The more advance you can run, the more power the engine will make safely. Suggest in addition to your uprated fuel pump and Induction kit with decent cold air feed i would add an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and possibly port the std headers before getting Andy to remap the car. If funds allow i would look for a front entry TD05 of the 18 or 20g variety as the VF28 on your car can be a bit fragile when upping the boost. This combo on top of your Version 5 STI spec would yield in the region of a reliable 350 - 390bhp HTH Grant ps pleasure to chat with you on Sunday and your car is stunning in the flesh
