Cheers for the offer but i am nightshift weekend .
Mines doesnt have cup holders but i have a small cubby hole above the stereo but i couldnt see any screws in that.
I see this story has made it to todays daily record, the authors wife is worried that the local neds find out who wrote the letter and that they get targeted. The point is also raised that the emails have been leaked from the police station.
How do i go about removing the stereo in the picture below? Are there any special pins or anything needed or are there hidden screws somewhere holding it in place.
Cheers for any advice!
Gus i have the samco hose kit , new calipers and disc's for the front to replace the original ones and a front mount to go on. Then it will be going to visit Andy F in the new year.
He is a member of the mlr and it was the 30 - 130 day that they hold each year. The guy had removed his rear spoiler in the hope to improve his top speed but unfortunately when he lifted off after reaching vmax it unsettled the car and caused the spin.
Andy that was me going to give it its final wash and change the plates over. I am looking for a cheap runaround as the new one is a summer / weekend toy. So i will be in stealth mode for a while .
Well the wagon is now away to its new home in London . Today was the first time i have actually seen the car drive past and be able to hear what it sounded like and i will definately miss it.
Sad to see it go but now i can spend some cash on the 555 over the winter and get it ready for next year.
A few pictures of the good times.
Highland gathering ( my first run with the car and the club.)

Its isnt like that often but thats what its like at a start up or if we have a big upset on the plant, its a fecken scary place to be when its like that. It can be seen and heard from miles away. All the gas is burnt in a giant flare stack.
I spent the first thirteen years of my working life in United Glass working as a multiskilled engineer mainly looking after the furnaces and forehearths. ( complete hell hole and like something out the dark ages ) Then got a job working for BP at the g4 ethlene cracker at grangemouth only for BP to sell the place a year after i started. (still a better place to work than united glass and the shifts / time off are great.) Its also quite an sight when the plant is starting up or having some problems
