i get my car serviced/checked nowhere else always been very good.

i was going to come up last night ............was it busy, i just could not be a***d cleaning the car.

i am interested to see if anyone as anything that is any good as i put a peco exhaust on my wifes astra coupe and it is a bit loud inside so was wondering if there was anything that would deaden the noise dowin a bit in the cabin

i have had my wr1 off the clock past 160 and it still kept going to what i dont know but she was starting to run out of puff 170 ish probably, i dont own a private race track so i did it on the A9.

did 153 over the new clackmannan bridge then got pulled by the lapd as they heard me coming. just a warning though as nothing could be proved.

was told later it might not work with a UV windscreen?? as the mum and dad in law have a autopayer thing on the tolls when driving through france and spain but would not work on there bmw as could not read signal through windscreen had to hold it out the window to get it to read!!!

never trusted it again and it has been sitting in a drawer in the garage.

alot of people just can afford to buy/run an impreza the now, i went to trade our wr1 against an M3 and was offered ****e to be honest, trade in 2k below book on my car on a car that was slightly over book price. i am just going to keep mine and enjoy it.

i feel sorry for the people that have got a new sti they are free falling 1k a month i was told.

buy a wr1 or a type 25 or a spec c

wr1 320bhp 0-60 4 secs

type-25 mk 1 350 bhp........ mark 2 400bhp

spec c, lighter and more race focused and very fast

for me a wrx was not as quick as i had hoped but they are nice cars so i was looking for a sti and found a wr1 and loved it bought after the first 100 yards in the test drive.

just put the bits you need in and then you get an e-mail from dealers thought the uk with there contact details and what they have. i got a set of alloys and a fog light from it pretty reasonable price i paid as well

motorpoint were selling vectras cheap as hell 6k for a vectra life 57 plate and 7k for a 57 plate 1.8 sri......... i heard that they sold 25 cars in under half an hour it was in the papers a while ago. unfortunatly my brother had just bought a new sri for 8k and my dad had bought a life for 7k if only they had waited 2 months!!! they bought them in october

Performance Creation are good enough quality for the price.

i put a set from performance creations on my WR1 they have been on a year now and 10k miles and are still mint really good quality for the price.

smoking and using the phone is something i do neither of but you do still see people using the phone constantly i was pushed onto the hard shoulder a few weeks back by a guy in a work van on the phone. gave him a little big of gesturing and finger movements.

i just treat EVERYONE on the roads as incompetent retards that have no clue how to drive. so when they do something right its a surprise.

I also give learner drivers all the time and room they need, only drivers i give grace to everyone else is fair game.

as far as i was aware all cars met there reserve? as when i looked at the list on tuesday night all said reserve met. dont know what any of them went for though.

, my wee boy was having a hernia operation today so was not keeping an eye on what was going on but my mate told me that some things went pretty high in the end. we never bought anything!

Lot 7 did not look too hot supposedly. a mate of mine went to have a look at them for me and him,looked like it had had a hard time on a track....? drivers seat was different with a harness and the only one he thought was any good was the celica although agreed with comment already said...not a subaru so no good . we are interested in the skyline though but still not clear what exactly we would get. guy up there did not seem too helpful and i was on the phone to hillington trying to get any info and got virtually nowhere, was told."some parts are there but no sure exactly you would get and condition" could be an interesting project over the winter.

also told dont know if the cars run batteries are all flat so cant tell you. ..................cheers. will have to see how it goes tomorrow another mate of mine is after the car lifts as well for his shed.(60'x 30') not a garden one. easier than digging a pit.
