i bought my one after 200yards!!!! fecking amazing
2 years later i can think of no other car i would change it to.
-
i think that it is called a parallel import rather than a grey import, motorpoint imprted alot of there imprezas from malta.
warrenty date can be a bit of minefield as they only have a 2 year one although it may be 3 years but from point where car was first registered in malta before coming over here. i looked at one 2 years ago.
-
aye watch out at halfords were a million miles out when getting some made up for stone chips on my wr1 used it to paint the rear hubs instead
-
i thought you were going to say lotus carlton.
i like the astra coupe i have one to dotter about in with the red leather as well
-
eagle eye........ i didnt realise that is what they were being called,
i had heard another few names
-
the devil you know or the devil you dont,
i have never owned a classic impreza but i have a wr1 and love it!!
-
i think i am going to put in a few more fixings although it has held up to 170 odd really good makes the front end look a bit meaner as well
-
looks like HT autos.
really good value and if you tap the kerb it sticks out so protects the cars main bodywork!
-
just got a set of performance friction pads for my wr1 so far really good got them from AS performance you will find there details on wr1oc
120 quid for a set of front gold brembros
-
sounds like a rear strut dude think there is a thread somewhere on sidc on changing the grease in them. if not new one is required
-
Garages now use mobile contractors who come to the premises and spray the wheels. I know a few guys who do it. Shelly, I live right next to Cameleon Powder Coatings. I have used them many times, just 3 mins from Braehead.
They only do Mon-Fri, if you cant get to them during the week you can whip the wheel off and drop it in at me and I'll put it in to them and collect it for you.
what is the average price to do a set of wheels? i was thinking of getting mine done black
-
mint car dude but i am also biased
first time i have seen one with white wheels looks good
thats a hell of a good price to get that for!!!!
i have a set of OZ ultralegerras that i put on in the summer (as they are a pain to keep shiny) if you want the prodrives there are always sets going somewhere.
i am thinking of getting my pff 7s powdercoated black to bring out the brake colour a bit.

my wife gets the same sort of hassle and "oh he lets you drive it" i do find it amusing but she feels everytime a boyracer/ bloke.... sees her of try to "race her" she has to prove herself as if not the will say/think, look what a waste of a WR1, woman driving it and not able to use it.......either that she is using it as an excuse to boot it.
-
i have seen a few around stirling, always give a wave!!
i was going to add to the count but decided to keep the wr1 for now
-

-

-

-
cod 4 and 5 are great
xbox for me
but it is addictive as hell you "loose" half a day when you start to play it
-
tell him to fill his tank!!!
you run on fumes......
everylittle helps
-
my wr1 has it,
i took it to a large car park to have a play and never noticed a massive difference although it was when i had just got the car so not used to it anyway.
mine stays on auto 99% of the time anyway i would not let it put you off buying an impreza
-
i think that there stuff in pretty overpriced!
-
i hated the astra i drove one a few months back and was not keen at all, the white limited edition one did sound really good it had a remus?? exhaust.
but was not keen on the drive. not even close speed wise to a wr1, but there was some really good deals on it thats why we had a look
still got the wr1!! the st focus is a far better car than the astra, the civic type-r is better as well
-
i never fill her up too much weight!!! keep her at half a tank saves about 25kg in the back!!!
when i got her i got a 14-17 average lowest was single figures but i dont tend to drive like miss daisy i have it for fun nothing else i take my other car out for shopping runs.

the lots of trouble usually serious came from a guy i was in college with, his old man had bought one and in the first 12 months of ownership it spent 9 months with the dealer attempting to fix problems............. fair play he got a complete refund!
