I have to say I was in a few months ago looking at a white one and they couldn't have been more helpful. Gavin gave us a good test drive of the car and was spot on. Unfortunately it was just not quick enough for me but is a step up comfort and interior wise. Put another 50-100bhp under the bonnet and I would have bought it. Ended up going for an M3

i am not sure if it will fit but i am going to sell one from my RB320, i have removed it already as selling the RB and i was going to give the buyer of the rb first refusal. I would do it for around the 350 mark. It would need a polish as i removed it last week and have been offshore since. Could get photos from HQ if you are interested.

it seems to happen to all nice cars, i park well away from everyone if i take the scoob to a supermarket but a few months ago the car park was dead i parked and came back to find a newish BMW next to me WTF? there were spaces everywhere. while i was loading up the boot he came back so i thought sod it and i asked him why he parked next to me when there were double/triple spaces everywhere so no one would have been near him... his reply... Park next to a mint car and the chances are they will want to keep it mint so will take care getting in and out so will not door bash his car.... fair point. i just think it was so they can have a good look at the cars without making it obvious!

i have one on my rb320 and it turned it into the god of thunder.. that backfires..... but they are loud. i have a bung i put in when the wee ones in the back and going on a long journey. it toatally kills the sound but you do notice a bit of a power drop. its fine but you cant drive it hard with the bung in. i also put sound deadening in the boot and doors reduces some of the road noise as well. i dont think there is a better exhaust for an impreza

well after a fair bit of arguing and some exellent work on ian grieves part arguing with the warranty company and subaru got the rear set changed on my rb to the uprated ones.... all 4 now changed in a few months hopefully the blistein uprted ones will last. no reports of them failing....yet.

my last wr1 would come down to 7mpg, 1/4 tank in 15 min. smiles per miles were very high though

i do love that bit of road, like the flames out of the rs

there is a post about re-packing them somewhere, as the shocks should be ok just the grease has gone hard? over on general discussion on the uk sidc bit. I think that is is not on thats all, i was going to buy the warranty when mine runs out in july but what is the point as the blistien ones on the rb320s are even more expensive so 1100 for an extra 2 years warranty is not that bad a deal for piece of mind but if they are not covered pointless.

i have used both over the last few days and have not noticed any difference to be fair, montrose and back tank of juice

thats a disgrace sell a car with a warrenty and then dont cover shocks the subarus biggest problem, i have a years warrenty on my rb320 and was going to extend it for 2 further years but if they are not covering the shocks what the hell is the point. Shocking!

with a spoiler a set of black wheels and throw a bit of carbon at it and it would not be too bad. in my opinion an improvement over the hatch cars have gone up a shed load. i mean 16k for a corsa 17k for an fiesta WTF, -
we had thought about flying in and hiring a couple of cars at the airport and blasting it around the track, still dont know yet may do. cheers for the feed back though fellas
-
cheers chris dude for the feedback i am still trying to confirm numbers then will get in touch with nurburgringuk.com and RSR, i was tempted to take my own car and drive across but if we get more than 4 really there would be no room cheers fella
-
I am just wondering if anyone has gone to the nurburgring and hired cars for the track. i have been doing a bit of digging and i can get clio cups on the first day for 750 euros and megane r26r for the next day for about 1000euros. for 10 laps and there is 4 of us planning to go so can have 2 drivers per car and 5 laps each with each extra lap being 90 euros. these prices incude fuel, lap tickets, insurance etc. the track insurance excess is 5k euros though so plan not to bin it i am just wondering if anyone has done it and was it worth it.

50k for a scoob with only 395 bhp, well overpriced. may look ok but for near nissan gtr money not worth it. -
i feel your pain a in 2006 i bought a new leon cupra r 225 (the only 2006 one) well chuffed....... i went on holiday to spain and was picking it up the day i got back as there were a few things that i spotted thet were not right (300 miles on the clock) there were 2 hankooks should have been pirellis there was a wee crack on the front splitter and i was having it superguarded. 2 weeks later come back from holiday went to get it. they were superguarding it there and then WTF they had 2 weeks to do it. the tyres were not back to pirellis and there was now a crack in the rear light. 320 miles on the clock now?? went fecking ballistic! as had already paid and as had changed numberplates over had to take the car away with the promise all would be sorted. decided to go to another seat dealer and let them look at the car. turned out car had been registered in 2005 in bristol then de-registered when garage went bust but so was 2nd hand. superguard had not been done right etc etc. got trading standards in and threw a round of hell into paisley anry shark. ended up speaking to arnold clarks son and told him he could stick it up his ar*e. eventually agreed to give me my civic type -r back and refund me all costs. but i had it for 10 days until plates were changes. well fook me its amazing how much tred you can wear down in such a short time and 152mph with under 400 miles on clock. i did my best to take it to an inch of its life. i even went through road works 3 times as they were putting new tar down to coat it in as much tar as possible. after i took the car in and swapped over to my old ctr the salesman told me that he had already sold it to someone else for the price that i had paid. dont trust them and dont take any of there lies ask for compo for your delay push for everything free services etc etc hope you get it sorted good luck fella

i had a drive of the MK2 RS last month and i initially liked it, it was a cold dry afternoon and i felt it pulled pretty well a bit of torque steer (not as much as i thought) the gearing is longer that a scoob and does pull well from the offset but 26k for a ford hard to swallow and when i went to think about it i took the wr1 for a run out to doune using the backroads and to be honest is not a patch on an impreza. after some more digging on the rs i found that there is a torque limiter in 1st and 2nd so you are not really getting the full bifta until you are running away. not worth the money in my opinion. rather the hawkeye spec c PCM are selling just not going to pay for it up front!
