I aint picked it up yet mate. they phoned me this morning to tell me, after they test drove it, it was perfect but when they were gonna take it in at night the pressure light wouldn't go off. they tested it but there was no pressure. hope it is a dodgy pump. Fraz

Had a few problems with my car this week. Monday the rad burst and got a new one fitted which was perfect. Started the car on wed morning and the oil pressure light wouldn't go out. I've now had a new oil pump fitted and everything was fine but just found out that a few hours later the pressure has dropped again!!! The funny thing is, the engine aint knocking but there's no pressure in the engine after a test. Can anyone shed some light on this for me or is the engine just knackered? Fraz

hey guys, is it me or do stupid little neds in pugget 306 16 valve buckets or golf mk2 gti's, in fact anythin with a bloody lawnmower engine try to prove themselves against a scooby????? i drive my car every day to work and not ONE day goes by without some t**t trying to push me to race then boot the tits out of their car to try and pass me. I have resisted the temptation many times but i'm gettin a bit pissed off with it and end up being as stupid as them and leaving them for dead, which proves nothing!!! Bar running the ****s off the road which is insane, what the hell they trying to prove? i'm beginning to have issues with these little ass holes and i feel that these guys think they have rocket ships and need a boot up the botty!! i've had performance cars all my driving days and never had this kinda bull! what's your thoughts? Fraz

drilling them out was gonna cause damage too, the nuts are or should i say, were 13mm alan key type nuts, very bad design as some of them were splitting. i'm gonna post some pics of what they look like and what the whell was like once they got it off. brakes are now done all round now with black diamond cross drilled discs and black diamond predator pads. stops the car much quicker now, thats for sure Fraz
-
I dunno what other scooby wheel nuts are but these were 12mm alan key type? Everytime they put extra pressure on it the nut was starting to bulge as if about to break Fraz
-
Thanks Iain. Good to know i aint the only one thats had a similar problem. i had 5 of the wheels anyway and the one that was chisled off was corroded. Still thinking about selling it now. Hopefully i will chnage my mind, i do love driving it. Fraz
-
they tried everything to get it off, drilling was not really an option as it would have fecked the wheel anyway. They used a very long bar but it was going to burst the nuts. Anyway i think i have found out who did them last time the wheels were off. They shall remain nameless till i am certain. Fraz O/S Rear wheel RIP. pmsl

Started getting a grinding noise on saturday from my rear N/S brakes, had a look and the pads were goosed. I took it to the garage yesterday to get new discs and pads and they started work on it this morning. I have now had a phone call telling me that whoever has done work on the rear wheels before has over tightened the nuts. After 2 hrs they can still not get the feckin wheel off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In 20years my mate has never seen this on a car before. Looks like that the wheel is gonna have to be burst to get the work done. Fortunatly i have a spare the same so thats not too bad. At this moment in time i am seriously considering gettin rid and going back to BMW. I am totally gutted. Sorry for moaning guys but i am so pissed off i just wanted to have a rant. Fraz

This sounds very much like what i had, was losing boost around 3000rpm and felt like a misfire, i got the plugs changed but it turns out it was a dirty air flow metre. Hope this is what it is mate, dead easy to fix. Fraz -
tell the police where she lives (as u will anyway) take a picture of your car and hers, the police should take notes after viewing both damaged cars. they will be able to see how conatct was made between the cars. the she will be bang to rights mate. Had experience in this kinda job b4 so pretty much sure she'll be up the creek without a paddle mate. Hang tough mate and don't let any of them change what u say. Fraz. PS, let us know how u get on

As some of you will know i have a Catalunya. Although i still feel it is pretty quick, i am now starting to get the urge to gain some more power. I have been told that i can't get it chipped so i am looking for other options. Its had a full de-cat and thats about it as far as i am aware. I knew this would happen. I now have the bug to fry my Visa card. lol Any suggestions?? Fraz

God i didn't realise some people go to such extremes as that? is this worst case scenario? I must be so naive but never knew that some T%^ts would go to such lengths to steal scoobies. Fraz

Lets be honest guys, if u kick the t!ts out of any car, something will have to give way and it sure wont be your right foot. Like all of u, i love feeling the power of a my scooby but i know deep down if i do it all the time then its gonna go. This is coming from a guy who has owned 3 beemers and loved them. Look after your car, your car will look after u, FACT!! Fraz []
