  10. About Auto tests With around 500 events a year, Auto tests are one of the most popular, least expensive and most enjoyable of motor sport disciplines. Standard vehicles are used, which compete individually against the clock. The surface is normally smooth, often tarmac. The accent is firmly on driving ability with each competitor negotiating a set route between, through and round various obstacles (usually plastic cones). The accent is on precision driving rather than speed with spin turns, reverse flicks and handbrake turns all regular parts of the entertainment. Any roadworthy car can compete and entrants are divided into classes according to engine size and category of car. Drivers must be at least 14 years old to drive a Production Car Auto Test, and at least 16 to drive modified or “special” auto test vehicle. Competitors must hold valid motor club membership card or an MSA Clubman Licence.

  17. It looked dry this morning so I went in the Dax, Got there, got signed on.... Then the rain came down Was very slippery, don't normally take the Dax out in the wet, It was fun, but not ideal, but know the limits of the Dax in the wet Saw a good few of the SIDC crew up there. Who was in the silver classic on the tack with the 555 livery? It was barking flames out the back lot of the time. Saw it stopped on the track side with the bonnet up a couple of times too
  18. Track Day on Sunday 18th Nov Singe on at 10:45 Track open at 12:00 Session end at 15:00 I'm going up for a blast in the Dax if its dry, or the Golf if wet. Anybody going along?

  21. Found this info on P1 WOC So should do V3 & V4 Classics Funny thing we found out. Nissan uses exactly the same MAF-sensor in it's Almera TDI. Tuners mentioned it's exactly the same thing, and several people allready drive around with it. Ref.nr: 22680-7j600 Here (Holland) it cost's only €28,- so about £42,-..........
