Picked up the new 2008 WRX STI today

Im really happy with it. Drves good and the Smart drive settings that it as is good. Still waiting for some extras to come from the dealer but apart from that the show room are a great help with any questions we had. Just a shame that the weather is poor. They said i need to do about a 1000miles before i open her up. So looking forward to that. Looking forward to this years shows.

I am very pleased to invite you all to the Capital Scoobies "Fairmile" Meet on the 23rd March 2008 @ 12:00am.

The venue itself has excellent facilities for food and drinks and boasts a superb setting for a large club meet. The venue currently hosts regular meets for some very exclusive car clubs including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, MG, Camaro, Skylines, Lancers and many more classic car clubs.

Given the great potential this venue offers, Capital Scoobies will be inviting all of the surrounding SIDC regions to participate in making this a memorable Subaru meet that will involve first class posing with some great photo opportunities.

Further information about this meet including menus, photos and directions will follow on this thread.

With easy access from the M25, I hope to see you all make the effort and show your support for what should be a superb day out for all concerned.

Yes i will. Pick it up on the 15th this month. Just have a few extras put on it.

Nice to hear it drives well (must get round to booking a test drive) don't really like blue as i think it doesn't suit this shape

Thats what a thought until i saw it for real. Black dosent so the shape as well as blue.

Test drove the new scooby today and liked the drive, Going to order one this week and should have it with 3 weeks, Went for the Blue sti.

it seems to have developed a bit of a blow inteh exhaust (which is standard) so i am looking for a new one,

Any recomendations on both exhaust and fitter(s) ?

Before my next MOT I need to replace 2 tyres and the backbox on my 2000 Impreza, I'm going to order the tyres and think I'll go for an Afterburner Vortex backbox but wondering if anyone can recommend a garage in S/SW London that will fit the stuff reliably.

Right, down to business, I think I may have found a regular meeting point for Capital Scoobies. It's called the Fairmile Arms just down the A3 in Cobham. I'm just finalising some details with the manager then i'll put a post up.

That sounds good for a starting point. Not to sore where Cobham is ? Is it local for most of the Capital ?
