  1. Hi Mate,

We had one at work for a short while. Only thing I could possibly say to keep an eye out for is check the transmission over. If you can't get access to gears with the clutch flat to the floor and are having to jiggle the clutch back and forth to find a sweet spot then you may be looking at a gearbox rebuild.

  2. thanks guys for all ure thoughts,

stewartyboy , all the windows are tinted light smoke,

thats why i went for the black centre rather than the colour coded, just to be different but do agree i think it will go with the wheels etc,

Black on black is the way to go. I tinted my rear wondows to tie it all together.

  3. Anyone tried the Sleepcycle app? Been using it for a few days now and not only is it an amazing insight into my sleep patterns when I average 4hrs a night but it really does work so amazingly well at waking you so you feel refreshed - I haven't felt this alert in years!!!

Ohhhh Im having real trouble with my sleep just now. I'll have a gander! Is it sleep cycle tuner or alarm clock?

  4. HAHA I know my taxpayers dollars are well spent when your at work Richie. I've seen how much money you guys re-invest into the motor trade after you take bends far too fast...no wait...do we pay for that?! :D

Check your phone ya big girls blouse...

  5. Hi All,

Today 9 years ago, 4 passenger airliners were hi-jacked by terrorist planning to steal thousands of lives from loved ones and create extreme un-rest between native countries. 3 of these planes hit their planned targets, the other ending up in Shanksville-Pennysylvania after the brave passengers attempted to overthrow their captors even though they knew their situation was hopeless.

Over 9 years I've seen various types of footage that I'm sure has made us all feel un-comfortable and upset at somepoint or another. Today I watched around 3 hours of programming completely fixated in awe of the devestation and hurt that was'nt just brought to America that day, but to us all across the world. No matter if we were directly effected by losing a family member or friend, I feel the hurt we find inside us when watching is that of a humanitarian nature where we, to this day cannot compute nor understand why we had to have this utter waste of life brought to our "reasonably" peaceful lives.

This event, along with attacks in the following years should never be far from our minds. On September the 11th 2001 Firefighters and EMS alike entered those buildings not as just a duty, but as humanitarians to save lives not for one second thinking about the danger that they were placing their own in.

I for one will never forget the heroism in these Firefighters or the victims of this un-neccesary act.

  6. The spring could have snapped at the bottom in the seating where it can't be seen. I would also recommend jacking the car up, get a pair of gloves on and physically apply pressure to parts to make sure there isn't any play. When the car is on the ground, weight is applied so any play will be taken up by this.

  7. Needed a new tyre at kwik fit and amazingly they 'only' had Goodyear, Bridgestone or Pirelli with the Goodyear being cheapest at £114!!!

Rich, your a copper and you willingly let them rob you...?

  8. Yous all need ti grow up. And stop branding the nice folk on scottishscoobies.net as numptys on the road. this site is also full of numptys. And well regardless of what site there on it really dont matter. Like all yous here that stereo type a site coz its members are younger and more fun. The general public will do the same and stereo type scoob drivers as knobs. Regardless of sites.

So look in before you look out and accuse others of the same **** all yous did in your younger years.

I drive an impreza so i dont speed. hahaha

who can acctually say it and mean it????

    not many of yous.

    anal retentive on here.

Even IF this thread had stereotyped a certain website which it has not, your reaction towards it has clearly done you justice mate. It does not matter what website you look at, just because your young doesn't give ANY excuse to drive this way.

Oh yeah, I'm only 25. Does that mean I can just go round putting other peoples life in danger!?

I think your the one that needs to grow up and stop living in your youth that you seem to be defending.

  9. And there's me gonna say a Raleigh Activator!

I'm the same Kenny, quite fancy getting my licence but more to overcome a fear. Been on the back of a few bikes and tbh they scare me a bit so I'd quite like to see what can be gained from control.

  10. Glasgowshire just isn't a cool place for motoring, is it?

I used to head through from time to time, but haven't been for years... spend all your timing sitting in traffic :P

Seems councils and road departments cant communicate. For ages we have no-one working on the problems we have with uur roads, then all at once they decide to go for it causing chaos. The viaduct has cracks in it needing immediate attention, this was found before the completion of the M74 had started. Why was it not fixed first before causing 2 major roadworks on the one short stretch of M-Way.

    Baffles me

  11. Your totally right, but lets be honest we all like to take the moral high-ground but when it comes down to it, coppers are only human too and are going to make daft decisions.

I'm not defending the total numpties completely for rolling it and ruining someones posh garden, if I did that to my VAN at work I would get the bullet as should these two!
