  1. Congratulations.

    My daughter is 2 1/2 now and it seems like yesterday that she was that small!

    It just gets better. Have a great time with Abi now....well, most of the time! :)

    I'm sure it'll start to go downhill in a few years!!!

    Enjoy

  2. Richie,

    There are afew big builds going on down south just now at SVM. There is also a JUN 4.0l stroker in the offing too, should be interesting seeing the results next year.

    In the States AMS have already hit the 1000ish bhp and IIRC honked a 9.19 1/4 mile at 163.

    :o:driving::headbang:

  3. Hi folks,

    So, with all this bad weather I've been staying indoors but went out this afternoon for the first time. It was an essential journey.....the missus sent me to Tesco to get fairy lights for the tree!!!! :rolleyes:

    Our roads aren't too bad but still slippy with the freezing conditions.

    I had my daughter(2) in the back and doing about 20mph max. I'm slowing down as I approach a sharpish bend and I see an old guy approaching, looking a bit fast.

    As we're passing I see his back end pop out, missing me by a couple of feet, and see him fishtail for 40yds before getting it under control.

    Apart from thinking that he was an ar$e for driving like that in those condtions, it made me think just how lucky you can be.

    We were the only 2 cars on that stretch of road at that time.

    If I'd been 5 or 10 secs slower, he might've been right into me.

    If someone had been behind me, they would have got him head on!!! :angry:

    Drive safe everyone :driving::)

  5. Hello and welcome mate.

    As Baz said, have a look here

    http://www.andyforrestperformance.co.uk/27671.html

    Andy gives you a guide as to what you can get for what mods. I used it as a shopping list before getting a remap from him :driving:

    You also might find some info here

    http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.php/Scoobypedia/Scoobypedia

    You'll love the car and it'll come down to what you want/can afford!

    If you do want more mods it might be worth getting the bits together, fit them all at once before the remap rather than paying for 2 maps..although the 2nd one should be cheaper.

    Have fun :biggrinsanta:

  6. I didn't mind the £30 the first year because with being a member I thought I saved money with servicing/insurance etc.

    I then thought it wasn't really value for money but, as it wasn't going to break the bank, I thought I'd continue to pay it in support of the club. Nothing more, even though I might not go to as many events etc as I'd like to.

    Same with the Scottish Supporters badge. At the time I thought the extra £10 would just come back to us.................. :blink:

    I did wonder if I'd continue to pay the £30 as I've found myself becoming less involved on the forum but as people have said.....new start etc
