If it's any use I've got 10 years no claims and my policy last year was just over £600 for my 96 WRX. I asked them to at least take their mask off whilst they robbed me

I'm considering selling my '96 WRX V-Limited import soon. I'm getting the timing belt, spark plugs and front brake pads changed this week. The car has 4 months tax and 5 months MOT left on it. It has approx 73k on the clock and has always been run and serviced correctly. I'll be advertising it for £3795 if you are interested.

Sadly on my 96 WRX import it's written in japanese. I use super unleaded from tesco which is 97RON as V-power in Elgin is 115.9 which I believe is a little too high. Plus I struggle to hear the lassie behind her mask the robbing so and so.

"Pointless Wars????????" The finances spent going to what you claim are pointless wars is always alotted in each years nationwide financial budgets. Needless to say as an owner of a fuel guzzling impreza I am as annoyed as anyone else regarding the price of fuel but to try and blame military action in countries which are ruled by dictatorships and normal civilians struggle to have the money to buy a car never mind fill it with super unleaded. These countries are ruled by bullies where the big kid wins well news flash guys it's not the f*!^ing playground anymore. I'm not a rainbow flag flying hippy but I just want a fair and just world. The cost of fuel is so high because of economy is always battling to keep up with the rest of the world.

Hi On my 96 WRX import every so often (pretty much 90%) of the time the handbrake light remains lit after taking off the handbrake. At first I thought it was just a sticky switch at the back of the handbrake handle but last night the light came on whilst driving. I checked all my brake fluids today and they are full. Any ideas as I'm very confused Thanks Swifty

Hey guys Just got a quick question. Whenever I'm starting my 96 WRX up from cold and on the first mile or so driving it seems to splutter a lot as the revs drop right down to virtually stalling point. Any ideas??? Thanks Swifty

Hey guys and gals I'm gonna be using my Impreza WRX as mine and my best mans car to get to the church on time next Saturday, therefore I would like to have the car professionally valeted. Does anyone know of any such place around Elgin that will make the blue beast gleam [H] Thanks Swifty P.S. If I don't reply over this weekend I apologise it's my stag weekend down in Edinburgh []

Anyone in Moray with a Openport / OBD2 Diagnostic cable?
SwiftyScoob replied to scouk's topic in Scottish Scoobies
A rover 214 cabriolet????? No wonder you were happy to get back in the scooby!!!! Being a new impreza owner myself I can easily say it's the best car I've owned it never fails to put a smile on your face (until my first MOT time, but that's a different story). Your cable sholdn't take too long to get through customs and into your hands. Keep in touch and let us know what proves to be the problem. -

hey up ScoUK Have you spoken to the guys at Glenburgie cars just outside of Forres?? He is a great guy and has worked on my WRX since it was imported. I'm sure he'll be a lot cheaper than the big garages. Let us know what happens Swifty -
I got him down on the cash and got him to fix the rocker gasket. The steering wheel won't be staying but it'll see me by at the minute. He seemed to look after it which gives me confidenc

Hi folks I'm the proud owner of my first ever scoobie. I've opted for a 96 N plate WRX import. I live up in Lossiemouth and wondered if there were ever any meets up here. However I'm away for a 2 month working holiday but will still keep looking on the site while I'm away. Looking forward to hearing from anyone Thanks Swifty
