I normaly spend a couple of hours washing the car and using autoglym super resin polish about once a month. Should I not use the polish as regular? Bought meguairs speed detailer recently and used it on my wifes car about 3 weeks ago and its still lookin great, used it on my car last week and well pleased with shine. Could you also recommend how to remove swirl marks?

spotted "sti" for sale on Arnold Clarks web site, glasgow nissan, royston road, 38, 000 miles £11,988. Don't think it is a sti but a wrx with some mods. Hope someone disnay get shafted. Don't know how to post a link, maybe some tips please

I got 150- 160 miles for £30 of tesco 99 (vpower is very scarce in south ayrshire, bp everywhere)

know this has been discussed before and had a look at previous posts. I have a 01 wrx fitted centrepipe and racebox last year. A couple of weeks ago I fitted a K&N panel filter and got second cat removed with decat pipe fitted. The car is running smoothly and pulling well with a slightly better throttle response, but seems to be using more fuel. Worked out that I was getting around 22mpg after the decat pipe and filter were fitted with moderate driving. Does that seem about right? Maybe its just a case of paying more attention to the fuel gauge because I've had those mods done.

spotted blue blobeye in Ayr yesterday, debadged, headlamp conversion, black alloys with silver rims and looked like a ninja backbox. I was behind it in my wife's astra (or mileage saver as i call it) just wondered if it was a members car.

Going to modify my bugeye wrx, need some advice from some of you guys, I have to use car daily, at the moment I have K&N panel filter, scoobyworld racebox, ninja centrepipe & second cat removed. Thoughts are to go for new downpipe with highflow cat uprated fuel pump and Andy F remap or should i go for ppp. Need reliability what do advise.

drive an 01 new age wrx, never driven a classic but admit you can't beat the look of a minted classic.

RMS engineering in prestwick refurbish alloys, never used them but i know they repair and powder coat them.

Dougie, don't know the name of the guy who dealt with oil problem, he had black hair & was probably in his forties. I,ve had my car serviced at S&S before without any problems, but would expect something as routine as changing oil or adjusting a handbrake to be done correctly and checked before the car left the workshop

got a 01 bugeye wrx, fsh @ s&s in ayr, always use dealer for service, got 60,000 service last month, had to stop on way home as back brakes were smokin, handbrake overtightend, took it back and they re-,adjusted handbrake no apology, strong smell of oil after a week, put it down to spilage , checked level & it was an inch over the notch, took car back they agreed oil was to high and drained some, still smell of oil after a month, know it can cause boost problems, not impressed, pay dealer rates to avoid this kind of thing, anyone had same problems with a dealer

Anyone bought a euro import from motorpoint? Is spec same as U.K, does it increase insurance?

first post, got a 01 wrx standard apart from ninja centre pie and racebox. Owned for 1 1/2 years 52,000 miles and looking for more power. Spoke to seditas in Prestwick they advise downpipe with sports cat, green panel filter, walbro fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator but without remap, greersport adivsed similar with meercat downpipe & andy-f remap should i go for one of them or ppp looking forward to your advice
