  1. It has come time for a positive approach to be mounted to move the club forward. With this in mind, I propose that Dean gets his domain of Kentscoobies.com in full swing and Pm's all known potential members with an invitation to register. Once members have registered a £10? Fee can be extracted and paid into the already open bank account. Having ascertained the club roll number Nominations for the club front person can be made and a ballot taken (if there is more than one person proposed). Their will always be some members with duel membership of SIDC and Kentscoobies and all will be most welcome at all meets, but lets forget what happened in the past and move forward on a united front. Kentscoobies has the potential to be a force that needs taking NOTICE of, with a large membership. All those that don't participate in this venture will consider themselves accursed that they were not part of this day, (thanks Will) Lets all look forward and move forward. Any grammatical, spelling or double negatives need to be reported to Deani
  2. Great to see this all coming together at last
  3. Sounds as though your just starting to get to know the new power/feel. I can understand the feel and sometimes the bite the cars now got, due to the fact that the power is on you before you have time to realize. Before at 380bhp you could plant the right foot to the metal, make a phone call and still have time to think about a gear change where as now your thinking a gear change in front and questioning WHY the car in front is braking so hard when theres nothing in front of him. I'm so glad that Olly and Matt didn't have your car ready early in the spring as I doubt if you would still have her Clive. This is a FABULOUS road car that verges on a race tool and might be the ULTIMATE road machine. I drove the MG SV prototype, a few years back, tuned to 650 bhp with road/race suspension and that was a carbon fibre race beast that was only good for the track. Clive's car is almost on the same level but is so much more user friendly. As Clive's already told us "when you drive this car the thinking has to step up to a higher level" and he is so right. This time next year you'll be safe to go out with Clive, but until then I'll do the driving when I'm in it with you, thank you.
  4. Sorry Skull meant MAP Skull is MAFless Scooby Hoo? is BRAINless Granby is MONEYless
  5. This is the same symptoms that Clive had before his Maf sensor packed up.
  6. That's it had enough of this lot, going to join the CHAVS and Skullfudge . Just need to find another 200bhp from somewhere. Anyone got some lying around their garage. :madnoel:
  7. Hence your nickname Grumpy :madnoel:
  8. One Arm. One Leg (male/female) Or five quids to Ian
  9. Can't wait to do the official club write up on your car Ian. So glad you have her back.
  10. And as a none membership/fee paying none existent club that's just a gathering of like minded people and fine but as so as you have a membership, taking fees and a constituion that's a different ball game. You should know that Steve you do have your business.
  11. Because of "Club" status a gathering of members, who have paid a fee, would need to indemnify any liability to be within the Law of the Land. And I know that you wouldn't wish a "Club" to start by being outside the Law especialy when you take into account that some of the SIDC (Kent members) are employed by Kent Constabulary. Need I say more
  12. Same for me and as far is I am aware Pele still says Hi Hello and Welcome No I don't think Pele has been consulted about this, which might have been done first before this thread was posted Perhaps
  13. I am of the same opinion as you Colin, in that membership monies might be better used within the Kent Club. However we will need about £1200 to cover limited Public Liability Insurance. So we would need to attract a high number of members.
  14. Might I be as BOLD to suggest then, that Kent Scoobies businees be conducted at www.Kentscoobies.co.uk as this thread could be most misleading to prospective members of the SIDC, in believing that Kentscoobies.co.uk is part of SIDC.co.uk which it isn't.
  15. I note your comments Steve. However I fail to understand, from what you have imparted thus far, the foundation that you are building your present campaign upon. Is this the new pastime? You do like a laugh Steve
  16. Thanks to Ian I've got my tickets.
  17. Give the poor girl a break. She is just getting to enjoy coming along to meets without all the backstabbing and you want to set her up for it all again. Let her have some space and fun.
  18. Looks good Tony. That's it mate just keep adding all that weight cos mine is getting lighter and faster
  19. Needs emptying Simon.
  20. What time we meeting at the Wharf Steve?
  21. Still only 3bhp more than mine Tony.
  22. But it is the FASTEST Bendy Bus in London, when your at the Wheel
  23. I have a TD04 off my 2002 Bugeye which has only covered 11.5k from new, so consequently is like new. Yours for £100 if it helps.
  24. "Yes" Jon, it is thought to be just a tad under 600bhp but awaiting a Dyno run to reveal the full picture. This is not the end of the story as further mods are being considered. It was such a joy to drive. It would be happy going through London or doing the 1/4 mile at Santa Pod.
