It's a same that the people who carry out this sort of thing have no understanding of the consquences there actions have on the victims. I was present at the CLUB meeting to-day and would like to report that it was a very constructive meeting and refreshing to know that the club is going to be moving forward with vision. Things have been actioned and decisions made. Pele, our club organize will be posting a full report in due course, so watch out for it. I would just like to personnel thank all those who were able to attend and reassure all Kent members that the club is now looking towards the future. Kind regards Hugh.

As a new member of the club I don't feel that it's my place to elect either SIDC RO or Kent Scoobie Organizer, ever though I feel that the burden of embracing booth roles may be too much for Pele to carry out on her own. I think the club should ask it's self whether it's right to expect Pele to under take the running of booth the club and SIDC at the expense of her son. However it is my belief that for the club to move forward and unite, the leadership must have a clear vision as to how they see the club moving on. I believe that there must be strong leadership and delegation to encourage members to feel part of the club. We all need to have some sort of role in the club at whatever level to develop a sense of belonging, the leadership might consider giving small teams responsibility's an example Barry's France run, or a group to welcome people arrange BQ's that kind of thing.It should not be the responsibility of a couple of people all the time. The club has many resources in it's members so lets use them. Kent Scoobies has the potential to be as active as the Essex Crew so lets go for it in 2008

You'll always be a fan of the car you drive, sometimes it may let you down so you go out and get it fixed. But you keep it going because your a fan. You came along to the club meets because you could share your passion with people who are fan's just like you. Like the car the club has let you down so help to get it fixed Markie. At least think about coming on Sunday.

Then my understanding from your post Ian is that they are one in the same, however Pele stated that they are two different posts. Which at the moment are being performed by Pele. Are we then to understand that the post of RO will embrace both the SIDC aspect of the region and the Organizer for Kent Scoobys under the same umbrella. If that is the case then I would like to propose that you are nominate for the dual post.

If the meeting on Sunday is to appoint the SIDC RO then should not this be only open to discussion by paid up SIDC members, who have the right to vote. As Pele pointed out Kent Scooby's is not on the Agenda, unless someone proposes it be add. Are there nominations for the post of SIDC RO and Kent Scooby Organizer?

Ha mate you've a scooby thats a lot more than some guy's your age. As Scuzz rightly said come and look the meeting over. I'd be very surprised if no one spoke to you. I have a 2002 WRX, my neighbor has a brand new Porsche 997 Turbo, it don't make my car any less worthy. The club is for Subaru Impreza owners, so all you need is an Impreza or a passion for them.
